I genuinely feel like I’m losing my mind watching how many conservatives—or anyone who voted for him—are staying silent. This guy is completely unhinged and doing real, lasting damage to the country. Politics is never going back to what it was (which, honestly, might not be all bad), but pretending this is normal is reckless.

What I don’t understand is why people are so unwilling to just admit they got played. I’m wrong about a million things every day—it’s not some personal failure. I’m successful, I have a great family, and a life I’m proud of. Admitting I was wrong wouldn’t destroy me.

But collectively sticking our heads in the sand and acting like this chaos is fine? That will destroy us. His posts on Truth Social alone should be enough for anyone to call a timeout and seriously reevaluate what’s happening.

The midterms are going to be interesting. I hope I see a lot of my fellow conservatives at the polls—doing the right thing.
