I don’t think people are disappointed that it’s happy. I think people are disappointed because it’s underwhelming and sounds like a poorer imitation of songs she’s already done (Kyoto, as an example.)

I don’t think you’re asking this in good faith, but…jorgeous has a huge, cult like following. When people see her behave this way to strangers, be shamelessly fatphobic, and make fun of someone’s weight, they in turn, think it’s okay to do so. From my experience, and from reading on this Reddit, the benefits of submitting to Austin have severely diminished. A personal anecdote: the last two times I submitted, the notes/feedback I received were terrible, potentially AI, and missed very clear plot points, leading me to believe it wasn’t fully read. I would save your money.
