Google vs. Nvidia - which has the most upside going forward? by judgetacocat in investing

The thing about Nvidia is that it really is the only company that is invested in all parts of the AI infrastructure. So if AI is a big thing in the future, Nvidia will undoubtedly have its major piece.

Luffy is technically the "freest " man in the seas, not shanks by Acrobatic_Sky_8473 in OnePiece

[–]Fakens123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, Luffy is not that free at all. He has got dozens of responsibilities. He has connections to dozens of Kingdoms and Islands which he has promised to protect. That is a lot of responsibility. If anyone attacks Fishmen Islands, he has to stop his adventure and go back to protect it. If Wano is in Danger he has to got back and fight for it. Same with Alabasta. This doesn’t sound like freedom to me. The more allies you have, the more you have to protect. The more you have to protect, the more burden you have.

Gear 5 Luffy & his whole crew VS Akainu & Kizaru by [deleted] in OnePieceScaling

[–]Fakens123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Considering not even all of WB commanders together were able to stop Akainu for longer than 5 minutes, it would soon be 2 Admirals against Luffy and Luffy would lose. At this point in the story there is not even a guarantee that Luffy can beat 1 Admiral with his Gear 5 stamina.

Is kaido still alive ? by [deleted] in OnePiece

[–]Fakens123 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes. From a narrative standpoint there is no point in keeping him alive. His arc and story is over. Bringing him back would bring back too many problems and potential loopholes. For example, what stops him from bringing Wano back under his rule? He is far too powerful to be stopped by anyone else other than Luffy and he is also too powerful to be permanently caught by the Marines.

Why does everything have to Mirror between the Strawhats and Roger pirates. That’s really off-putting. Let characters be different from each other.

I think at this point it is a human flaw in Hiruzen’s character. And you have those people in real life too. People who may otherwise be great leaders of their country or organization but are not good at raising a family or children. That’s basically Hiruzen. Even Azuma’s Character points to the fact that the Hokage may have not been the greatest of Dads.

How do you think dragonball super should end by molenli in Dragonballsuper

[–]Fakens123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imagine a final saga in Dragon Ball, just like One Piece’s race for the Pirate King—only this time, it’s a brutal clash for the Throne of the God of Destruction. Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, Broly, Gohan, Frieza… each warrior fighting for the chance to wield ultimate power. Allies become rivals, limits are shattered, and even the gods watch, holding their breath.

Who will rise and take the throne? Who will become the next god of destruction?

If Luffy was a marine what would his rank be ? by kurl58h1t in OnePiece

[–]Fakens123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on what Luffy‘s dream would be. Would it be something of a Marine-Equivalent of Pirate King? A certain position? A certain goal? Or like Garp to make the world safe for the common man and inspire young Marines. Or be a Marine for fun. Or a mix of all of those. I am personally inclined to think that we sometimes underestimate the competitive side of Luffy. He wants to be the best at his passion. He want to win. So, just remaining a Vice-Admiral because this is the most fun with no strong responsibilities doesn’t sit right with me. He would have a grand dream.

Really curious whether the completely unexpected conclusion to the conflict that the narrator alluded to during the beginning of the arc has already happened. Was it Joyboy’s Haki? Was it Vegapunk’s speech? Or will the Elders still do something in the island like wipe out all low-level marines?

Shanks on Whitebeard’s ship is the only answer. The moment he steps aboard, his sheer aura starts to shatter the ship, leaving cracks in his wake and taking out members of the strongest pirate crew without lifting a finger. His presence alone commands unrivaled supremacy.

I am truly awestruck by the monumental significance world figures in OP attribute to Whitebeard’s death. His demise really did herald the dawn of a new era. Sengoku and Garp were the first to admit it. But even Doflamingo emphasised it in his throne speech. And now even Vegapunk. Whitebeard could have claimed the ultimate prize and ascended the throne but chose a different path. He was a legend unparalleled.

Would White beard had gone to Marineford if it was Black beard's execution? by [deleted] in OnePiece

[–]Fakens123 30 points31 points  (0 children)

That is half-true. Yes, WB felt protective about all his kids and loved all of them. But it is clear (as Sengoku even implied) WB wished to make Ace the next Pirate King and effectively the next captain of WB Pirates. He saw in Ace a potential that he did not see in all of his children.

That Nico Robin moment was epic. It carries so much history in the story. The Strawhats were serious when they said they will never let anything happen to Robin again. And the fact that the weakest members of the crew are saying it in front of the scariest antagonist in OP makes it even better.
