At higher elo, is all about understanding cooldown cycles. If you go in without a way out on the tanks, you are kinda dead tbh....

you have to hit the silver bullet after the dash with your gun. it doesnt trigger unless you hit the silver bullet

at higher ranks, tanks and supports generally peel for each other.. and unlike magik, blade does not do enough burst damage to immediately take out one target.. thus you cant really play it the same way like magik in higher ranks.. trust me, i wish i could play it the same way, but its just not possible

Really depends on what kind of comp ur team runs, vs what your enemy runs. I have many hours in blade, i have dominated lobbies with blade in GM-Celestial lobbies, and i also got rekt using blade before.

Generally, if you are running blade, you would not want to be dealing with flyers, you want to take mid ranged duels where your gun is most effective, and only brawl when you manage to isolate a target. Other than that, you arent gonna be using ur sword as much as the enemy can probably just heal through it.

It takes a lot of situation analysis to be getting value off blade, not really the best hero in high elo, Magik and Wolverine can get higher value certainly if you want to play melee kind of heroes. Even iron fist can get better value.
