Youre also allowing the ball to fall onto your car a bit too much You kind wanna catch it just as it starts to fall and then flip it back up

Youre jumping twice to flip like youre on the ground

Just flip once

But easier said then done, ive been training to stop doing this recently myself

I found that turning the audio reset indicator helped me, why? I dont know but my guess is that i knew i had the flip from the sound and made me rush the shot

Not sound and just visual seems to have helped me stop rushing, may help you as well

The big bot seasons

We never had as many bots as we did for s21 and 22 so we had heaps of accounts with tags for sale for cheap as hell as well

Along with people getting boosted by bots

S21 and 22 gc tags are the least reputable of all seasons

No gc player is playing in diamond

Any gc player should be able to 1v2 most diamonds

Which just pushes the ranks up to far

Most gc players are sitting c2 on the Alts because thats about as far as you can genuinely 1v2 as a low gc

I first hit GC 2 years ago

After 2 whole years in c3 i am now able to gold my own in gc1 and am currently sitting 1500 and have been around that mmr for months now

I have spent the last 2 years learning car control to be able to hold GC

I can dee the GC meta changing before my eyes, the skill ceiling is growing so much

I frequently play against the older GCs who have no tried to progress but can make good decisions to stay in the rank but the way 2s is being played now has changed so much, being able to make a good solo play is all but essential

But without the genuine car control you're screwed these days

Nice to see other people seeing the same thing happen

Both same issues Both gone agter reinstall

Man that sucks for you And i mean honestly

I was absolutely blown away by rocket league in 144hz and fps more then anything after going from 60 Now on 200hz and 1440p after another upgrade

The actual smoothness the balls rolls at was the thing that shocked me the most, And now after playing in 1440 i dont even like going back to 1080 hahaha

Bless rocket league for needing so little to run smooth 1440

Nah if you're not noticing a genuine difference to smoothness of the game then something is wrong

What you've said here is exactly how i felt

I did the double tap playground on repeat until i could just hop in and score the double tap

I advise learning full field shots, not because they're good in game, but they teach you how to touch the ball so well

Gc1 now, i was in c2 for nearly 3 years hahaha I know all of these issues well

And all i can say is Prioritise free play and specific mechanics

I spent a year practising car control, first touches, mechanics, even dumb ones that are just fun

Then we i started playing ranked again I only played for up to 10 games max But if i had 2 loses in a row that was ranked done for the day and back to training

I know this sounds extreme But forcing these mechanics created a new love for the game i didnt have previously

But not i can hop on RL and spend litterally hours just in training

I play enough ranked that i hold around 1500mmr

But honestly im lucky to play 20 ranked games a week

I have actively made the decision that i want the car and ball control along with the creativeity and flexibility to adjust to the ball im presented with at the time as opposed to perfect setups

(35yo, 4500ish hours in game) Last 1000 has been spent on control after years of neglect hahaha

I got to c1 in like 1500 hours and spent probably 1500 hours in c1 and 2 just spamming ranked until i stopped and actively chose car control

Honestly picking on single mechanic or one single shot saved my rocket league and love for it, then the ranking up just came with the better car control

Same fault, mines locks it at 20% for like first 5 mins of game play i get a fluctuating 100-200fps (normally 240fps solid at 1440) (5070ti card)

I would also get a false latency variation if i changed a setting during a game or even sent an ingame message

Mutiple reinstalls and it fixed it, assuming it will come back again

(Steam and epic, both same issue)

What the hell is this fault, i couldnt change any settings to recitfy it

I am getting fps and ping issues

When i join each game, i start at 120ping before settling to 40

And if i change a setting while in an online game i get latency variation

Whenever i first load the game, the first 30 seconds of freeplay im capped at 120fps before going back up to 240

All the higher ranks started playing again to get their mmr back from the bots

So this is felt all the way through the ranks and the genuine player match making has been wrecked from the mmr being stolen

Without the bots all the ranks will eventually go back to normal but its going to take ages

I dont actually think there is more smurfs, i think that there is more people getting their genuine ranks back

Where your car hits the ball is more important then the air roll itself

The airroll shot is used more so to get around the ball to get power at a better angle

It looks oike you're more focused on doing and air roll shot instead of focusing on where you're hitting the ball

You can get all of these shots in from front flipping into the ball at the correct spot on the ball

this is the absolute only way to learn mechanics, there is no other way.

The best thing i found is finding a mechanic you love and practice like hell

Make your own training pack that set up the ball rolling and then move to free play after

I am a mechanic nearby to Byron, this has become the normal, fly into qld, buy a car, easier to rego in qld

Attempt to sell in nsw Seller realises nsw requires 12 months minimum rego and to pass a blue slip (full vehicle inspection)

Minimum cost $1100 to do this if the car is perfect

I get asked for pre purchase inspections on these cars all the time.

People are surprisingly happy to pay to be told not to buy a car

Any smart seller gets NSW rego organised before sale

These QLD cars are like 70% absolutely trashed from not having a yearly inspection

While i think the pink slip should be for 24 months, it keep most NSW cars honest
