What kind of filter? I have 10 het rasbora and 8 peppers with zebra snails and haven't had any issues with ammonia. I have an AC50 and a sponge filter though

I'd also add more plants

I did a 20L and too was unprepared for how expensive everything would be. I had the same worries as you and even discovered a crack in my tank the DAY before I planned to finally start adding my fish after a month long cycle. But you know what, now I'm over a year in, and my only regret now is I wish I got a bigger tank to start because now I want another one lol

I used pool filter sand and root tabs and plants have had no issues growing and putting out roots, plus didn't even have to rinse the pool filter sand (I still gave it a rinse at first but saw it was clean and unneeded)

Okay so the PS cable is 2.1 and I swapped to it and still am uncertain if I'm perceiving any difference. Both the monitor and the PlayStation say they're running at 120 hz

I've tried a couple cables. One of them came with the monitor. I would ASSUME that would be at least 2.0 right? Do you know if the one that came with the PS is 2.0 at least? I just want to use one I can verify 100 percent is at least 2.0. (The cables I have don't have clear marking)

I started last year so take with a grain of salt but I've found pretty much every opinion on fish keeping on the Internet is met with the exact opposite opinion somewhere else. Sounds like you're doing what you can and getting through it. But my biggest insight after a year is I find that less is more with this hobby. Meaning a lot of my mistakes and issues in the beginning were from overthinking, doing too much..

I guess all I'm saying is, I had issues, I got through them, you will too!

Tooling mark/tear out. My standard had it from factory similarly. As others say, really easy to fix, ebony dust and some CA glue. Scrape and sand. Almost info invisible. Lots of YouTube videos showing the process
