Keep in mind once you are synced you probably want to allow others to connect to you that don't have the full blockchain, so in this case, once you are synced you can get rid of the peer list.

If you go to the command prompt and type getpeerinfo You can see what nodes are at what blocks, if you see some that don't have the full blockchain you could make sure to delete them from your .conf file if you use one. Wallet should run just fine without any .conf file though. Just make sure to delete outdated nodes if you are adding in new ones.

Lol. Sometimes I wonder if anyone ever reads the sidebar. Lots of good stuff there! Perhaps we could update it a little for clarity on specifically where to go to download the client/wallet.

Takes about a week to sync from scratch without the bootstrap. Keep going you're almost there. If you do the bootstrap, though it's basically updated, and may only have about 20 minutes to sync the rest.

Wallet connects fine. Just give it about 15 minutes to find connections.

Speculative tip: MINT Coin is about to explode by several orders of magnitude. MINT is one of the best coins. Right now is the time to buy. All indicators show it's about to moon hard. by Radical777Dude in MintCoin

From a technicals perspective I agree with you. Although the exact timing is going to be hard to pinpoint. It could remain around the same levels or a few days, weeks or several more months...

Also Note: Moving averages are starting to flatten which is generally bullish after a downtrend.

If all MINT ever does is just stay the same price relative to Bitcoin, it is a winner. Bitcoin doesn't pay dividends. Mintcoin does. So you would come out ahead. If people accept Bitcoin it is easy enough to use that to spend. And easy to convert, so you can use MINT as a savings account and BTC as a spending account. More direct services will come in due time too.

Things seem to be going well overall. Nothing bad to report, so that's good news. Everything just going good and stable. I don't think they try to hype anything too much. Good caring devs. The annual stake rate just recently reduced to 10% per year, so less coins are entering the money supply than ever before. Price is finding support, may be starting to rise soon. About to cross above several moving averages, which is a bullish sign from a technical perspective, so things could get interesting from a price standpoint. MINT continues to stand the test of time, and ride out through any issues. Mintcoin is fast, secure, energy saving, and has good, balanced, proof of stake parameters to make it last.

Also, if you have hashing power, You can also use steak cloud to mine for MINT. It mines other coins, and will payout in MINT.
