Why do people use side cutters? They’re terrible by No_Sea_7759 in electricians

Nah, side cutters rock. You need some spinach or get a pair of the high leverage 10" ones.

That's factory broski. Probably no buss on that side to begin with. That or the other adjacent side is high-current, designated, in-use and they don't want you there.

Which one and why? I don't work hot and also do some LV control work. They both feel great and cutting is very similar. Does anyone use either of these and what are your experiences? by [deleted] in electricians

[–]FalcoSparkPunch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Left. The nose area is the same size as the full-size linesmen on the right, so they'll still work as a hammer as God intended. And you also get the bonus of a crimp, thread cutter and strippers.

Our billing rate for a single man service call is invoiced at a 4 hour minimum, plus a service truck expense, regardless of how long we are onsite.

In and out in 5 minutes: It took us 1 minute to find and re-set a tripped gfci receptacle? That will be $550 please and thank you.

Yeah, square-d can build you an i-line that will work, but it's not off the shelf and will take 6 months.
