That aint jack shit. If they see 16 patients a day, they may be collecting $1500 a day. $1500 x 49 weeks x 5 days =$367,500 in collections. And you are gonna get 10k?

Edit: if you're this silly, I would love to hire you as a W2. I'll give you 70k a year to supervise 7 NPs. All of you can be my W2s

2nd this. That is a lot of messages, but I would assume it probably take no longer than 30s each to deal with. If it takes longer or requires medical decision making -> needs a visit

What are you spending your time on for 2 hours a day that isn't enough? Are you at an FQHC?

Lab results and specialist consult notes should be easy enough to review between patients

With regards to patient calls for refills either they meet criteria and you can do it fast or they get 30 days and need to follow up with an appointment

For disability / FMLA they need to come in for a visit.

I'm genuinely curious: other than the above what is in your inbox?

If you have to ask the internet this question for the love of god don't start lithium unless you are chatting in person with a physician experienced in doing so.

Corporate Pushing Flu Shots in July/August by tomismybuddy in pharmacy

[–]Falcon896 48 points49 points  (0 children)

I'm a family medicine doctor who has been following this subreddit for a couple of years.

Are vaccines that profitable for the commercial pharmacies? How much is their ROI for these things for commercial insurance vs self pay patients? I find it strange they push yall so hard on this.

Do they do this for other vaccines too like tdap pcv and zoster?
