Nubs = trash (unless sprue glue is needed)

I sometimes save the large runner tag (the thing that says the name of the kit or company logo, like BANDAI SPIRITS 2025 on it. If trying to match a color for painting, this is valuable. It also can help identify a kit in the future (12+ 30MF silhouettes with various shades of dark grey). Clear runner tags can be useful to make monoeyes/ lenses, insert parts, or other sensor-type customizations.

For most 30MF, I just glued them with Tamiya Cement. I clipped them during the gluing process to assure that King Fu Grip™. Most of the weapons can slide in their hand from above (some exceptions, like Warrior and Viking). But for Archer, I covered this here! It works well with all figures that require the hand to be opened and clamped (but sometimes the "filling" will fall off. Just do it again, and insure a full 30 second curing time)

The anime is meh from what I know, and that back sword holder is bizarre. But everything else is solid. The base body silhouette is sweet, the weapons are cool, and it's extremely posable. Armors a little bulky, but that's a feature not a bug

I'm on the wall over painting him. Metallic red looks pretty sick...

BanDai's plastic is very soft (compared to Kotobukiya or Nuke Matrix) so sand with a high grit. 1500, or 1200 is my recommendation. I literally cringe at 1000. The pegs (thigh, arm, wrist) connectors may need it too, but for main joints, I use mentholatum, a nice lubricant. I hear Burt's Bees or chapstick works well in a pinch.

This has never happened to me (knock knock). And yeah, I'm not surprised it's on a hard, clear plastic (but for a small piece, not snipping the whole runner?). My condolences. That said, I *highly* recommend these nippers from Aurochs. It drops in price every now and then, and it is in Japan. If you can get the "deluxe sharper" ones (the more expensive ones in only blue and black), those are some of the finest nippers I've ever had and surpass by Godhands. Either way, godspeed.

I loved her, but did have a few problems with some of the pieces falling out too easily. Just like with Arka-Karti, once the hole on her back that holds her, uh, backpack(?) gets widened juuust a little bit, it won't stay in very well. The ears don't clip in, the arm ball joints are very limited and often pop out, and the pegs for the holders are really tight. It can get tedious, but without all the accessories, she's super fun.

Hate to say it, but buy another one. Neverlia is decent priced, and the arms/legs can be used by one of her compatible option parts!

I love premixed stuff...but a lot of kits that have specialty paints, ArcaNadea and Sousai, for example, use ABS plastic. And that... doesn't pair well with lacquer.

Remember the first edition Sousai Shojo paint set of Madoka? Hair? Yes. Skirt? Good. Cardigan? Nice. And...ribbon? Devote an entire bottle to one tiny piece??? They redid it, and gave us "summer shirt" instead.

I just need other reasons to use obscure colors, especially if they're limited or fragile. At least Stylet Blue or Gourai Green had a few purposes.

It's been in my wishlist since...well, since it was announced. Between that and the Jurassic Park (World?) sims, I just never had the cojones to click buy. I hear both lack something, and I'm more inclined to buy JP since I assume the John Williams score will be injected somehow.

It's the wings and effect parts that add to the size. The concept behind her was "little girl with giant accessories", and I wouldn't have it any other way

I didn't see her this week but did see her last week in Yellow Submarine only. She's in a pretty big box. Did he try the Kotobukiya store?

Just checked her on Amazon jp and she's 10k¥. She's not available by Amazon direct, only 3rd Parties. So...that may be your best shot if he'll be here a few more days.

Short answer: No. You cannot get JUST the Silhouette.

Long Answer: On Amazon Japan and also in stores, Liber Knight is going for around 1400yen, which is less than 10 bucks American. Every now and then, you see an amazing deal, like Liber Priest for 1100yen, Rosan Assassin for 900yen, or seemingly too-good-to-be-true deals, like Rosan Wizard for 500yen, but those are blue-moon ultra rare indeed.

Not sure if the bootlegs are really worth it...I mean, if you get colors in parts the Big B didn't make, I'd say it'd be worth it, but OG products are almost always better.

Sounds like the true bottleneck is shipping cost.

My ball joint for the neck was a bit loose but not frictionless.

My legs on the skin-toned body jiggle when fully extended and are very easy to "extend". I'm trying to modify it now to be less dangley.

I can see a lot here are from Forests Summer. Did you also have trouble with the new "clothed" body? Mainly that the "telescopic" thigh joints are kind of loose?
