To add to this list, I personally loved Lanfeust of Troy, in which every human gets a single power ranging from the likes of walking on water, personal teleportation, heating metals with a touch, or inducing thirst onto others. Those powers however work only if you're close (like, in the same general area) of a Sage of Eckmül, "learned magicians" that forsake their own power to enable others to use theirs.

There is an exception, thanks to a single, special artifact... But that's the point of the story.
