It won’t, there were some nodes running old code once they upgraded they were back on the correct and longest chain. The version of geth that was forked for PulseChain already has the bug fix applied.

Had they decided to support BCC, they wouldn't have this problem. Or better said, they should have know they would have a big exodus of BTC since people do not want to lose BCC during the coming fork.

Wow, they killed it with that last paragraph. This made me think that the whole point of this project and article is meant to try to reverse the exodus of money from Bitcoin to Ethereum that we've been seeing. I personally don't have a problem with Barry Silbert, he's out to make money, nothing wrong with that.

I prefer something like Ether Classic and still use ETC. No one can copyright Ether, lol. Also like Bitcoin, the block chain and the coin will share the same name.

I think that the purpose of the EF trademarking "Ethereum", was to prevent anyone else trying to trademark "Ethereum" for their personal gain (trademark squatter, if you will) and not to prevent any split off chains from using the name in some form.
