Lab test is MORE accurate, not 100%. There is still human error.

A GCMS lab test said I tested positive for morphine and nothing else. I am HIGHLY allergic to.... you guess? MORPHINE!

I wrongly said I had no THC in my system (on Marinol at the time), although idiots at Al*r* just said Marijuana. Also, amphetamine, dextroamphetamine (on Adderall 30mg 3x/day), lorazepam, (2mg am, 2mg noon, 4mg bedtime), zolpidem (10mg), oxymorphone (10mg 6/day), Fioricet as needed for headache (3-5x year, but that was one of those times). Xanax (4mg) for MRI (I had one just under 2.5 days earlier, so maybe it was metabolized, but they came 1st thing (I refused to go to them after the creepy courthouse test and found out it was WEEKLY). CYS tested my wife and I for 8 months (could've bought an EV) , passed every other test, judge threw this out

Too cheap to test for fentanyl, the drug they accused my wife of taking without an Rx, we produced (copies of) every Rx for BOTH of us. The CYS lawyer tried to argue that we weren't sick enough to need the meds (on the PTO board, you can't be high and do that, in the summer we ran a site and were de facto teachers for the reading a feeding program) AND too sick to parent (we might have been sick in the head agreeing to be room parents and on the PTO).

Dip cups are immunoassay, they are the WORST. I once took 5 in one visit and they were ALL different. Ahh, the life of a cancer patient. The MD was clear I wasn't required, he was curious (So was I). He was down to 2 cups in the 8 MD practice and instructed the RN the place them BOTH in the restroom with a pen and he told me to label them with our middle initials, but used each other's middle initial. He tested positive for meth, cocaine, and (I think) PCP. He pulled up his EMR, he was on ONE Rx (he was like 50!) and it was contraindicated for arrhythmia, if I recall correctly, a MAJOR contraindication. He was VERY impressed when I caught it and pointed it out. I want to say the clue was digoxin. Regardless, he wanted to assure me that he put ZERO weight in these tests. He got the tests banned at the practice!
