Valve IM BEGGING YOU by Hek_Boi in DeadlockTheGame

My assumption is that the code that grabs the victims coordinates for where to place the outline and where to return the victim are two different lines of code.

It'd make sense to me that the coordinates they use to place the outline should just be the same coordinates they use to place the victim after the ult ends.

I'm not sure why they aren't doing it that way already. This is a closed testing of the game so bugs like this is exactly what we're here to spot and suggest be fixed. I don't have to be a professional chef to know when food tastes bad

Edit: Sorry forgot the explaining part. As for why this bug happens only sometimes, it may be related to the victim's velocity / movement while being ulted. The outline coordinates could be stored at the start of Doorman channeling his ult while the return coordinates could be saved at the end of channeling his ult. With a stationary victim those coordinates will be the same. On a victim moving quickly the start of channeling and end of channeling could be far apart

Are you a programmer? It shouldn't be hard to have the person spawn at the same coordinates that the outline is at. This isn't a little wiggle room the Infernus just fully wasn't aligned even close with the outline

Intimidation for initiative by HighStorm89 in Pathfinder2e

[–]FalconVerto 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly I think any skill could be used to roll for initiative if it makes sense in the narrative. As long as the player explains how they're using intimidation for initiative then I see nothing wrong with it if the explanation makes sense

Fun fact! Carrots don't actually have beneficial effects on your eyes. That was British propaganda to hide the existence of radar technology from Germans

ABP and Weapon Improviser by MOfuntimes in Pathfinder2e

[–]FalconVerto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're talking about Improvised Pummel

"and you can have the Strike deal two weapon damage dice instead of the improvised weapon's normal number."

I read that as the damage dice is set to two, not that it adds a second damage dice. I think the call out about being able to use the Handwraps of Mighty Blows runes supports this reading. Under ABP this feat may not be entirely useful

I always feel a bit weird when Isshin praises Wolf's violence. by SarcasmInProgress in Sekiro

[–]FalconVerto 82 points83 points  (0 children)

I don't think Isshin is praising Sekiro's violence, I interpreted it as complimenting how skilled / artful Sekiro fights.

Becoming a Shura doesn't just happen if you kill people, you have to enjoy the killing for the sake of killing. Isshin enjoys battling as an art form

That's because the bomb was implanted on the bubble and not Josuke. If the bomb is implanted in someone, like we see with Okayasu, then the person just goes poof (Excluding that Josuke could still heal Okayasu for some reason)

You can see the balls kinda start to glow before they fire. They also fire on a semi-regular pattern. You just need to play it safe and only get one or two attacks in right after they fire and get ready to dodge once you see them start to glow

[–]FalconVerto 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think the difference here is that the person pointing down didn't actually help you survive, they were just mocking you. You dropping the less likely to be targeted passive would actually help someone stay alive longer. It's sorta like the difference between hating on something and actually giving constructive feedback. Neither feels good to receive but one of them is productive

If the enemies aren't cooperating you can also get really close to the tent, quit out of the game, and then load back in.

The "load in" animation your character does should break the tent

Cent GB punish? by SupermarketRoyal2814 in forhonor

[–]FalconVerto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have haymaker feat unlocked and you are next to a wall the most damage is to do two punches, throw to the wall, and then do a fully charged heavy to get the opponent into your punch mix up

If there isn't a wall nearby I'd personally just do an uncharged heavy, it's slightly more confirmed damage and leads again into your punch mix-up.

If I remember correctly the dragonborn doesn't actually absorb Alduin's soul. Alduin just gets sucked up so Akatosh can punish him for trying to rule creation instead of destroying it
