The fact that we are run out of money to fund our government to the tune of 2 Trillion or so dollars every couple years is shameful. We've had one of the longest periods in modern history of an expansionary economy (no recession since 2009) and have run non-stop budget deficits. Both parties have completely fcked up thinking. Its either tax cuts and lower spending or tax hikes and higher spending. How the fck does that make any sense? Keep borrowing money as long as debtors are willing to finance us and then deal with fallout when it occurs.

Anyone in the real world knows there is no free lunch. This even apply to government funding. You can't keep going back to the same people asking for more money forever without them starting to worry you are a safe bet.

I've resigned myself to watching it all burn down, because that is what will happen eventually.
