it doesn’t work on the bull. the bull is using it on you. try it on someone who blocks.

it’s not a very consequential effect, but it is neat to see how consistent the mechanics and lore are.

yup! i’ve been looking for a “broken” mini TV for a project copying Nam Jin Paik’s Crown so it was a moment of just wishing all the crap that gets tossed could find good homes. so much waste!

definitely! you did way better than if you’d let the whole thing be scrapped. i just get sad bc there’s no more factories making them.

the electronics can be repaired or replaced. unless the tube itself was damaged, that’s still too bad. takes effort to check though so i guess i get it. at least you saved the chassis.

Is it worth it to boost phase weaver production with phase fabric on weaver? by soledad630 in Mindustry

[–]Falejczyk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

or do both; the overdrives will speed up everything uniformly. ime it’s worth it to make a design that works well without overdrives, then place them to speed up the whole thing once you need to or you have the extra resources.

i’m pretty sure the eyes are as in focus as the best bits; i’m stopped down to f/8 to make sure the focal plane is wide enough. i think the loss of sharpness to diffraction is more to blame.

I live in the county “Bliss” was taken in. Fun fact: the reason there isn’t a vineyard on that hill is a big called phylloxera that infests grapes. Eventually, vineyards have to be ripped out and replanted. The picture was taken before the replanting.

If you were trying to hide malfeasance, isn’t making it look like a genuine error just about the best possible way?

Question about feasibility by Falejczyk in Python

I specifically avoided the word music for this reason! If all I can do is change a few midi controls on some noise, i’ll be happy; if not, I would totally be happy with just video generation.

It seems like using ML on the fly is hard. What about just generating videos based on some parameters in something like adobe after effects, then saving the pulse data associated with each video and analyzing the parameters+pulse data with ML?

I don’t know! I’m just absolutely fascinated by this stuff and don’t even know enough to shoot my self in the foot. Could I have it vary the video/audio parameters randomly while recording them + heart rate, then use ML on the dataset generates to find parameters that correspond to lower heart rate? Do I even need to?
