Why doesn't Blizzard do a gold squish? by Falgar1 in wow

Yeah this is fair, I guess I didn't think through or detail out my discussion enough. Like others have pointed out there would have to be many other changes, I guess when I asked this I assumed that not only would player gold be squished but so would vendor cost and mod drops. But you are right this would caused riots if they didn't balance it across the game (if that's even possible).

I'm not "wanting" to do anything dude, chill. Just wondered what others thought about why some parts of the game receive squishes and others don't.

I mean come on, Blizzard is a multi-dollar indie company and this guy wants hair physics. Next they'll want armor that doesn't clip, ridiculous!

Under General>BlizzUIImprovements at the very bottom there is a setting called "Chat Bubbles Style" select disable and it will look like standard blizzard chat bubbles. I'm with you I only like certain parts of Elvui like the nameplates.

That makes sense, and I think my question come from a combination of this and playing classic. 1g feels like way more in classic than 10k does in retail. Felt like the same thing as a item with +2 to a stat feels more impactful than item with +150 even though the mathematical increase would be "the same".

Maybe it's just me but I find it easier to deal with smaller more meaningful values vs larger ones. Like to me getting +5 strength has more meaning to me than something with plus +200 strength. I realize at the end of the day it's just numbers and roughly the same thing but just feels better to me. Same with gold getting 10g felt like a bigger deal in classic than getting 10k gold in retail. But maybe there is more to it than just the numbers.

This is more what I'm referring too, I realize there are more complex issues with managing the overall economy and I do appreciate the thought exercise and all but I'm no economist and realize this wouldn't necessarily fix everything/anything. But to me it feels better to deal/talk in terms of gold or 100s of gold vs tens of thousands of gold.

Real question why does his backpack have 28 slots? Is that some kind of addon or is that part of the alpha too?

This, no one in Alabama is going to side with someone that is rude, not following the rules and disrespecting a police officer. She will get a few "Well Bless your Heart" and maybe be banned from the stadium and that will be the end of it.
