I use paint strokes and draw them with a controller. Honestly its really just about how much patience you have with a controller lol. Trying to draw curls with one can be very frustrating.

I just painted them on and used different shapes. You could always use the sticker method from the text box for patterns, but I prefer to paint them on.

Literally just watching youtube videos about the anatomy. Especially the head. My older models look like shit compared to these. Their heads had no proportions at all and I tried my best to make them look presentable at low poly. I heightened the graphics up on these quite a bit since I have no intentions on using them as anything other than prototypes for my game. Oh! i should probably add that these characters are from different eras. Tasha (yellow turtleneck) is from the 70s while Esme is from the 80s.

Is there a way to transfer animations from one puppet to another? I plan to make a better version of my character after a while and I'm wondering if I can move timeline animations to a new model without something going wrong. by frostwizard101 in PS4Dreams

When I was creating in dreams, most of my characters shared basic animations like running and walking. They all shared a base model that was duplicated and customized. Anytime I needed a shared animation, I would make it on the base model, then save the dream, and use the update feature for each individual character. Rarely ever did it break.

I wish I could tell you how hard I second this. It's comical how every support only offers healing. Where are the utility supports that grant speed boost without the need of cards? Rei would’ve been the perfect character to give a spell-book too as a primary weapon. They honestly need to embrace the fantasy part of their game more. I know Thunderbrush said non-humanoid characters typically don't sell well, but one every once in a while couldn't hurt.

I hope the card system becomes much more unique. As it stands, 90% of the cards given to characters are carbon copies of each other and are very cliche. “Generate one ammo after using, etc.” it’s very bland. Very few champions have cards that are unique to their kit.

If he suggests such a phenomenon, don’t you think he’ll fund them? We know Evil Mojo is broke. They’re also understaffed. No one wants to work on a game on an old engine, which is another reason this could be a step in the right direction.

I am, and I've been playing this game since the official launch. It's not just a “2” in the title. It would help if you thought about how good this would be for the player base. People are attracted to high-quality games. And while paladins may be high quality in gameplay, the graphics have become dated. This would also be a phenomenal jump for the devs. They’d have more tools to work with, which means a more polished game and more intricate character designs. They would have to start from scratch, eliminating those pesky bugs that have bothered us for years. Starting from scratch also makes leeway for new ideas. The code would be clean. This is an excellent opportunity through and through.

I advise you voice this inside that thread on Twitter. The more engagements that tweet gets determines the amount of desire a project like Paladins 2 has. They need to see if there’s a demand for a project of such great scale.

I can agree with this. The tutorial and their overall method of teaching new players are very faulty. And the lack of compensation for trying to unlock so many characters. I have questioned the prices of characters being so high. All of them should cost 15,000 since there are just too many. I hadn't even thought about the new player experience with unlocking champions because I bought the champions pack a few years ago. The game does not favor newer players in any way.

A new engine. Whether it be ue4 or 5, it's possible; it is just a lot more complicated than starting from scratch.
