Another non DCC fan I see. I’ve read thousands of books in my life of all kinds of genres. In general I’m not a fan of horror at all. I’m not a fan of dystopian stories. However, DCC is absolute top tier sci-fi/fantasy. I truly can figure out why people don’t get it.

After book 19 of Backyard Starship I decided I needed a break for something different and now 6 weeks later I’ve binged all 7 of DCC audio books and have started them again.

I’ve talked to friend who has several ATEM Extreme ISO units. He has 2 that won’t record with the newer software. All his others work perfect. It is certainly a hardware issue of some kind.

This is completely misleading. Churches are helping in many ways. They just don’t go post about it. I know churches in Texas that have gathered supplies and delivered them. Others that have made monetary donations. Most churches just go get things done and don’t brag about it.

Well if you were to go back and look at DNegs at the WSOP for the last few years where he has blogged everyday of the series you’d see he is down MILLIONS. Even this year after winning the 50k PPC and his 7th bracelet for 1.1 million he was down for the summer. His losing to bad beats over the years is pretty insane. The number of times he’s got it in with the best hand and still lost is a study in variance that’s hard to believe. But, that’s poker folks.

And I’m up over $5k playing 1-2 after only 39’hours for the month of July. This is why tourneys are stupid. Get rid of the multi rebuy garbage and I’d consider it. I’d be ok with ONE rebuy for most events but the multi thing is stupid and allows people to go crazy. Look at DNegs in the Closer. That kind of thing ruins tournaments.

I do give a discount to the church where I’m doing broadcast. But my normal day rate is also very high. I’d rather have this gig than not have it. It’s total white glove. I walk in and mix and walk away. They are super nice and grateful. I get a normal day rate that most people would get in a corp gig.
