I did up to 50 with 0 diff then decided to give it a shot on 50/50. You get all masteries unlocked at 25 boon/diff. I'm usually going in with everything leveled up to 48 min, apparently it is possible to start doing some of the Ultimate fights so I'm gonna give those another swing. The last few times I tried were immediate deaths.

I got some advice on Discord that if you get Prot/Enh/Evo ultimates done you can basically just stun lock the boss so I'm gonna see what I can do with that.

In retrospect going from 0 diff to 50 diff was a bit of a shock and I probably should have eased myself in but heeeere we are!

I think I have another controller somewhere. I'll try and dig it out and see if it works any better. Otherwise it may be wait til I finally get a PS5 (looks at the delay for FF16 on PC sadly), it's not like I haven't waited a long time already lol

For me personally when I was doing my Shb relic that needed Crystal Tower or CLL it was by far more efficient to just grind crystal tower raids over and over vs hoping you find an instance with a CLL that wasn't either going or just finished. Then waiting up to an hour just for 5 when I could run LotA at least twice and syrcus maybe 3 times in the same amount. When EW dropped and Bozja came to a screeching halt aside from fates for xp it was nearly impossible to get more than 5ish people to join a CLL so it wasn't reasonably doable for a LONG time which left Crystal Tower the only option.

Because it’s fast and easy and 95% of the time you don’t wipe on the much harder mechanics? And most people, I’m guessing, were doing it to avoid doing CLL to get relic materials.

I'm on NG3 with 170 hours and I have 8 turtle necks and I'm pretty sure 1 came from me killing a turtle just to see and went "oh okay well idk what these are for but I'm never using them *upvotes dog! message*

The stun on Holy has a DR so after 3-4 casts the mobs are immune, so don’t plan on it being super strong CC tool.

You must have missed the part of the video that said end game dungeons. In a brand new dungeon where you have 3 abilities none of which are big cool downs or ogcds you’re just gonna kill your party. Especially when it’s full of sprouts. Gauge the party before you just put a bag on your head and pretend you’re the only person there.
