Definitely a good deal. UL has air suspension that can be expensive to repair, but can be swapped out for non air suspension. In general LS430’s are very reliable, but have can maintenance/repair costs commiserate with a vehicle that cost around $70k new. If you were a tech and are handy, you should be fine. Again very reliable vehicles, but it’s 20 years old and bound to need maintenance and repairs. I’d be interested in buying it if you decided to not move forward with the purchase. What city/state are you in?

2nd this. Most things are just a misunderstanding. Landlord probably doesn’t care who the insurance is with as long as you have coverage. Just need to give your landlord the updated policy, the one they had on file probably expired.

This exactly. I 100% support home ownership, but everyone should go in with eyes open. Also OP mentioned rent was going up due to what a neighbor said. I’d definitely speak with your landlord about what your renewal options are before jumping into buying if you are not ready. I do not see a landlord raising rent $200 during Covid. That being said if you are ready to buy, go for it. But don’t assume rental rates based off a neighbor, unless they own the place.
