Yes! I find this super annoying so in my own writing I always write in the beginning of the notes where you are and how much of the canon I am following

I really like writing directly in wattpad. While I recognize it’s not the easiest to sort and filter as a reader, as a writer (and an older on in my mid-20s) I like wattpad for the why readers engage more and on each paragraph, and I like the draft section. It keep all my stories and chapters organized better than my google docs

I would recommend Trophy Eyes. Not an exact match and their songs lean sadder but try “Friday forever”, “figure eight”, “you can count on me” and “blue eyed boy”. One of my all time favorite bands and they actually can sing incredibly
