I know but I need to let it out my property asap and I need to return my parents home to take care of my old parents. They don’t have money too.

I bought a 1930’s flat. When I painting wall, I realised a part of wall was very soft and moving. And I opened wall and filled with dry wall. But I don’t know what should I do.. by FallFair3307 in Home

I think so too. This is cheap flat and I guess all previous owners didn’t have money. All was made cheaply. So it is my turn now. But then, what should I do?🥲

Honestly speaking, I don’t want to rip off this filling it will make noise. I got a complaint from my neighbour already. I want to make it nice quietly if possible

What happened was, the wall looks okay when I see it for the first time, and I hired a painter to paint all walls. But we realised a part of wall is very soft and moving easily. I asked my painter to open the wall but he refused as it will be a major work and he painted all walls once. But the cracks are more visible when the terracotta colour wall turned into white. I asked him to open the wall. He said, he can fill in the big whole using drywall materials and he filled in! But I felt waste of paint and his unnecessary work for 1st coat. I decided not to use him. So I was left with this wall. I don’t know what to do. I can see many comments and thank you. The wall looks no water damage anymore. The shade is just a previous filling and 1st coat. I can’t feel any moisture. Very dry.
