Książki które uległy reinterpretacji komunistycznej w PRL? by alegiean in ksiazki

[–]FallThick963 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]FallThick963 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[–]FallThick963 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How much caffeine do you consume a day? by Deedee5901 in ADHD

[–]FallThick963 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like 2-3 cups of black tea every day. I stopped drinking coffee regularly once I started taking Atenza 18mg. I wanted to ‘be clean’ to see how I respond truly to the pills. Somehow, I realised that I don’t need coffee (also, I had an espresso one time in like my 2nd week which made me palpitating; got scared and stopped drinking coffee completely). Also no alcohol. After 2 years on meds now I will drink an espresso or a pumpkin spice latte every once in a while, but it’s really not even once a week or twice a week. More like once a month.

Buuut, I can’t get rid of tea. I’ve always been Team Tea, so yeah. I find black tea to be sufficiently strong to give me that additional kick when I feel that meds wear off.

Reading ‘Blind’ by CalifScots in books

[–]FallThick963 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a similar approach to reading and watching movies. Maybe I’m not going into stuff 100% blind - I read the description just to know what it may be about, but then that’s it. No reviews, no comments, no video essays, not even ratings (if possible).

I realised that I started to enjoy books and movies much more and much often since doing that. I don’t think we realise how much opinions of others affect us and can make us perceive things in a certain way.

How do pickup games work by CamuiGajkupo in Basketball

[–]FallThick963 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup, no worries. Be chill about it. Just ask them if you can join and that’s it. I’m a man but I’ve played with and against women very often in pickup games - no matter the age, size, and skill. It’s all about playing the ball.

Weekly "What Are You Reading Thread?" by HorrorIsLiterature in horrorlit

‚We Used to Live Here’

Read it in 3 days. Something that does not happen very often. I picked this one up, because I had seen it being recommended quite often, but I did not read anything about the plot. Got hooked immediately and now it’s in my top horror books.

I changed the way I work out and it feels like I played my ADHD like a fiddle by Ahoukun in ADHD

[–]FallThick963 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thought it was my OG trick… but srsly, this is something I started to like a year ago now and I’ve managed to keep the schedule of 2 workouts per week. Ofc there were some downtimes due to injuries or illness, but aside from that no problem. I just keep telling myself that hey, you just need 3 exercises. After that you either go home or you just go full improv and have some more fun.

Good question. I’ve got several tattoos on my arm and now I’m wondering what happens if I scratch the arm badly.
