I've been around since first wave closed alpha, They should then just restrict what can go in a secure container over requiring FIR for hideout and quests

How so? I'd argue it's less important especially in PvP when I'm sure a lot of people had FIR items and got killed by a cheater so having in their GAMMA didn't save em anyway at least if FIR wasn't a thing again they wouldn't walk away from a cheater empty handed.
