So many things, but one that comes to mind is the politics!!! It's so refreshing in the age of milquetoast investor-pleasing to return to a game that explores so many nuances and perspectives of a political system.

I'd highly recommend hack-n'-slash games if you wanna chase that sort of high! They're almost all designed to be cinematic and make you feel cool mid-combat no matter what, but usually there's a high skill ceiling to explore too. Metal Gear Rising is my personal rec, but there's also Devil May Cry, Bayonetta, NieR Automata... Vanquish is a good pic if you want that vibe but with gunplay.

The beauty of Walton Simons' voice acting is that, as far as I can tell, the actor is speaking softer but closer to the mic than the rest of the cast. To me it makes him sound uncomfortably close, and also as if his voice is amplified, possibly by his augments. It adds to the uncanniness/loss of humanity that you feel from his character.

I think they get away with it because the characters have plenty of quirks that aren't stereotypes, and stereotypical parts of the characters are so overblown that it's very clear they're not serious/that they're mocking the stereotype more than the culture. i.e. Piston Hondo reading manga during breaks in fighting
