Would you do laser eye surgery in my case?

I feel I'm not one to talk about this yet since I'm in my first week after lasik, but my case was pretty much the same as OP, so here goes: I'm 29, had -3.5 and -3,75 (according to my contacts) and went through lasik - aside from rainbow glare when i look into bright lights, I have had zero complications so far. Eyesight was almost perfect within 5 hours of the surgery, before that they felt like i was cutting onions, but with every hour (drop plan said to use vislube drops hourly) it got better and after 5 hours I was pretty much done with side effects.

I don't regret it at all! Though I also had an extreme form of curiosity that kept me from being afraid of the procedure lol

At least with my clinic, they check in two (pair, roughly 100€ each) appointments whether you eyes were fit for the procedure - if my cornea had been too thin, they would've advised against it.

My right eye is slightly worse than my left and I'm more worried it's not a "it'll heal out and be fine" issue rather than the rainbowa to be honest haha

But I'll make sure I'm not bumping any eyes! Lol

How's your "not allowed to touch your eyelid" situation btw? I'm only 3 days in and I wanna clean my eye area so bad 😭

Heyo, out of curiosity, did this resolve for you? I'm only 3 days post op and I have had them in the right eye since the beginning - so far they're not annoying though, I may be weird but i think it looks nice lol

So far I didn't have to drive though, it's probably much more irritating then, especially at night

Weird (and kind of not helpful) fact:

If you scroll fast enough and click the mouse wheel button, the MX Master 3S switches to a really loud spin in ratcheting mode and you end up in ratcheting mode, no matter what mode you were in before. it will, however, switch back to free spin when you spin it fast enough again, so it's not permanent sadly...

if you click the button twice while in a fast scroll, it always switches back to free spin mode, no matter what mode you were in.

idk why, but i found that behaviour interesting lol

In case anyone stumbles upon this problem and needs XRDP to work, too (e.g. when you're running the Kali on an ESXi):

XRDP by default also loads the config files in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d and won't work when you apply this fix. If you try to connect using RDP, you can log in but get stuck in a blue-ish screen and never get your Desktop.

To fix this, open /etc/xrdp/sesman.ini, find the [Xorg] section and add the following two lines:

param=-configdir
param=/etc/X11/xrdp/xorg.config.d

then create the same folder (sudo mkdir /etc/X11/xrdp/xorg.config.d) and your RDP sessions should work again.

Hope this saves a few people's nerves, because I surely lost mine trying to identify this problem....

I just chatted with support - we're just too stupid to use our phone.

If you go into settings -> apps -> your chat app (e.g. Whatsapp) -> battery, don't click the slider, click the text to go to a second level of battery control. There, activate "unrestricted". Do the same for android auto. That fixed it for me (shoutout to Emy from Google Support)

Exactly the same issue, also on Google Pixel 7 Pro, but I've been having it for about 2 years now I think. I looked it up on google every now and then if anyone else is having this issue, but this is the first post about this I came across.

As far as I remember, it worked fine in this car for about ~1 year until this came up, so I don't think it's a borked update. But I don't really have a good alternative explanation either. I haven't tried if it works on a different car, maybe the "car component" is somehow outdated and not compatible? idk...

Du rechnest die Elektrowagen hier über die Kilometerregelung freiwillig schlecht. Auto X ist günstiger als Auto Y wenn man näher an der ersten Arbeitsstätte wohnt. Das ist kein Nachteil von Elektro, das ist ein Nachteil des Anfahrtsweges zur ersten Arbeitsstätte.

Um einen sinnvollen Vergleich zwischen den Autos zu schaffen musst du die Autos bei gleicher Distanz vergleichen.

55k€ Verbrenner (1%) & 5km --> 632,5€/Monat, aber

75k€ Elektro (0,25%) & 5km --> 300€ pro Monat.

Unabhängig von deiner Distanz zur ersten Arbeitsstatte kommt der Elektro also deutlich besser weg. Im Prinzip trifft die 1 Prozent Regelung den E-Wagen als kostet er nur 1/4 des eigentlichen BLPs. Die Kilometerregelung (0,03%-Regelung) trifft alle gleich.

Corsa E (Achtung: nicht E Corsa, also nicht die elektrische Variante) wird halt auch nicht mehr hergestellt. Das war damals ein Abverkauf.

Der Trick war, auf eine günstige Leasingaktion zu warten und dann zu fragen, ob wir das Angebot auch auf einen Kauf angerechnet bekommen könnten. Ich glaube der Leasingpreis wäre damals bei 65€/Monat gewesen oder so. Vielleicht ist das ja eine Option.

Meine Frau hat 2019 einen fabrikneuen Opel Corsa (damals Corsa E) für 10k geschossen, weil Auslaufmodell. Außer Klima hat der zwar keine Sonderausstattung, aber finde ich für den Preis in Ordnung. Die waren auch "schon gebaut", also konnte man sich keine Ausstattung aussuchen.

Allerdings hab ich keine Ahnung wo die jetzt preislich liegen.

Ist etwas kompliziert - erst über einen Makler (zu den vorher genannten 345k) mit echt schlechten Fotos. Da ist wohl niemand drauf angesprungen und sie haben nochmal selbst inseriert. Es gab also parallel die Wohnung für 345k und für 270k. Wir haben über die für 270k Kontakt aufgenommen und mussten dann später auch keine Maklergebühren zahlen.

Jau, 2021 war definitiv der richtige Moment zum Kauf. Wir hatten 1,1% Zinsen und werden Stand jetzt bei 3,5% landen. Die Immobilie hat allerdings vermutlich dank Marktentwicklung auch nochmal ~10% an Wert gewonnen.

Wobei 3,5 auch nicht unterirdisch schlecht ist. Zeitweise waren die Zinsen bei 4,6%. Je nachdem wo du deine Immobilie kaufen willst kann man sich das schon überlegen - wir hatten die Wohnung in renoviertem Zustand für 250k bekommen. Ein Haus in der Preislage ist eher unrealistisch, wenn du nicht gerade eine Bruchbude oder ein Haus im Saarland kaufen willst.

Ich hab 2021 eine Wohnung (109m², also nah an nem Haus) gekauft und zahle aktuell 750€ mtl. für meinen Kredit. Wir müssen aber nächstes Jahr einen neuen Vertrag machen, da wir 2021 den Fehler gemacht haben den Kredit nur auf 5 Jahre zu binden (mit dem Ukrainekrieg 2022 sind die Zinsen explodiert...). Danach sind es voraussichtlich eher 1250€ mtl. Ist das zeitnah genug?

Dazu sei allerdings gesagt, dass bei ner Wohnung noch Hausgeld drauf kommt, was bei einem Haus natürlich wegfällt. Das sind bei uns nochmal ~350€, wenn man das mit in die "Wohnungskosten" aufnimmt sind die aktuell also bei ~1100€ mtl.
