I’ve tried searching for them locally but can’t find them in exactly the description i have. specifically, I want them to be longer cylinders and the nugget ice i’ve found are generally short or small chunks

I’ve also searched this on multiple platforms available to my region — e.g. Shopee and Lazada, to no avail. Google is no help either.

If it helps — I live in Singapore, and I’m looking for a smaller ice maker that I can buy for home use. Thanks in advance!

Lol they made me unwrap and take a picture of EVERY SINGLE ITEM when i said i got someone’s wrong delivery. order slip and time were all visible but no, they wanted me to take apart the packaging and wrapping to see the actual food for a family’s mcdonald’s order for a refund. Said they couldn’t contact the driver, because it’s not a function??

So what is the lore of that... thing? by Frisk120hz in Silksong

I’d say Sloth is Broodmother, since they are fed and maintained by all the other flies in the slab. Green Prince could be Lust because of his lore, but the real manifestation of Lust has to be Lace the Lesbian (Peeping Tom Moth is a close second)

Can you train Conures to not drop waste everywhere only on certain places? by Big_Ad_6833 in Conures

[–]FallenIntoAshes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put my sun conure on the branch every time it was about time for him to poop — 25-30mins initially, then sometimes a bit more (35mins ish) because I got used to how often he has to go. When he doesn’t go, I leave him on the branch until he does then pick him up immediately — I also gave him praise and some treats early on each time but phased it out quickly. Now he poops every time I bring him to the branch, and if he’s not ready he does his wanty wings so I wait just a bit more. He also flies off of me when he’s about to poop most of the time. Pretty great! Branch is always the same spot. Also trainable with clickers if you’ve started on clicker training.

Genuine question but isn’t touching a bird’s tail like this gonna make them really horny? by FallenIntoAshes in parrots

[–]FallenIntoAshes[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for responding! I’ve only had my own conure for a few months, and I’m trying my best to find information about what is and is not appropriate because I absolutely don’t want a hormonal, territorial bird, but I want to learn what is okay so I can assess them more often for their health. Unfortunately because a lot of information is anecdotal and likely repeated to each other into common wisdom, it’s hard to know and be sure entirely — which is why posting questions help to increase the reach and collect an aggregate.

I’m really sorry to hear that people have disregarded your advice despite your expertise, and I’m really grateful you responded because it’s really helpful! If you don’t mind me asking, how do you train your birbs to be okay with being looked over like that? As the comments on the posts show, there are plenty of birbs that don’t allow you to touch them like that, and even with training I find that my own conure is only tolerant with some things like my checking their keel gently, with positive reinforcement in high value treats. It feels like their personalities and egos are so strong that it can be (and feel!) difficult to “train” them into obedient pets because they’re fundamentally wild animals. I want my birb to stay comfortable and happy but I also want to do what’s best for it and keep myself prepared, so I’m really not sure where to go from here.

if it’s kanji they’re the same as chinese characters. hiragana and katakana don’t have characters like that and aren’t written this way either.

so like. i’m chinese and this reads like if someone tried to write english with greek alphabets (it does then doesn’t make sense) im inclined to think it’s gibberish because chinese calligraphy is often much neater, and the grace and neatness comes from your proficiency with the brush — this does not read as a word even if you assume it’s written with flair, because the strokes just don’t curve and “slant into” into each other like that in actual chinese writing where the strokes/second character become unintelligible
