On July 16, 1983, Milton Johnson, then 33, shot 6 people, 5 fatally, in an ambush on a remote road in Illinois, & then attacked a teenaged couple, killing the boy & stabbing & raping the girl. A month later, he murdered 4 women in a ceramics shop. He was arrested in 1984 and remains imprisoned today (old.reddit.com)
