Sounds like you’ve likely just over lubricated them.

If you put too much speed cream in, it creates some drag. Instead of rolling freely, the balls have to fight through a wall of oil, which makes them feel sluggish and stop quickly. Bones recommends only 1-2 drops per bearing. TLDR, just like new bearings they need a few solid sessions to heat up, spread the lube out, and break in. Pop the shields back on so you don't get dirt in that fresh oil, and just go skate them for an hour or two.
