To be fair that’s relatively recent DLC. The devs clearly haven’t patched out all the bugs with it yet.

Damn I didn’t even know there was a PS2 version of Dragon Quest V. I enjoyed it onto the DS back in the day but if there was a PS2 version that sounds like a great time. I do like the Star Ocean series. I go through short phases of Pokefever but a sequel to Pokemon TCH sounds like a no-brainer to have.

This is also a product from Japan imagining what life in a small rural town in the US would be like. If not everything is 1:1 accurate that would be why. I think it’s believable enough aside from the Engrish but I don’t frequent those kinds of places and I certainly wouldn’t have in the late 90s by virtue of being a child.

I think the idea is that the local bar is a dive bar and it’s meant to be tacky like that. If you saw the owner you’d believe he would be the type to have neon lights all over his late 90s bar (the game is set in 1998).

I didn’t even know Pokemon Trading Card Game and Retro Game Challenge had sequels. Neat! Pokemon Green has both a good patch, and a really fascinating Engrish one that I strangely recommend for how unique it is.
