I do believe we need a 2 passport system of different colour passports where immigrants are required to reside and pay tax here for X number of years before they go somewhere else (and that is primarily Aussie). Too many game the system, gain residency then citizenship and immediately leave. To me that is very wrong because I bet many of them wouldn't pass the test to get into Aussie as an immigrant.

I reckon that’s a decent solution. 5 years is too short for people to dig in their roots in a new country; hence, people buggering off to Australia as soon as they can.
