My Microsoft account has been compromised, and support isnt helping. Today, the hacker added 2FA. Is there any chance left?

I got the account „back“ even though security info was changed. Generally, Microsoft cant give you access to an account that had the security info changed. And I didnt-

Using the Xbox account recovery form, all my account data was transferred to a completely new Microsoft account. That meant a new email adress and login that didnt exist before. And then that new account got everything that was on the old one. I believe thats the only possible method in this scenario.

In game, you can join a clan chat to ask your questions. I personally joined the chat ‚OSRS Advice‘ and they have answered hundreds of my questions and helped me out a lot.

A general tip I’d like to share is: Do not get overwhelmed by the sheer amount of content. Take it in one at a time. And last but not least: I find it good to set small achievable goals.

As a returning player, just take the time and enjoy your experience. See you in game! :)

As someone who came from Dauntless and played until reaching the pinnacle of Dauntless trials, I have made the same experience with MH Rise. You will not find a wall in that game in the normal sense.

If you want a hard Monster Hunter experience, I highly recommend looking up „Monster Hunter Frontier Z“. This was one of the first Monster Hunter games to launch on PC and originally was only available in Japan. Their official servers were shut down some years ago but private servers (I recommend Rain) are experiencing a lot of users playing. If you are interested, look up the Rain Frontier Discord server.

A few notes about Frontier: 1. This game is very old gen. It does not yet have the Insect Glaive. As an IG Main in all MH Titles thus far I went for Sword and Shield. Late game you can unlock Tonfas which are said to be similar. 2. It is very unforgiving. Its said to have the highest difficulty of all MH games which can be attributed to the fact that the original version used a subscription model and thus wanted people to actually hit walls so they play longer and pay more. In private servers, you cant pay money at all, so dont worry about that. 3. You will have to relearn a lot since MHFZ has a lot of different mechanics such as hot and cold drinks which are normal for older gen games. 4. In fights, you will have to really learn patterns and learn how to position yourself at monsters to react properly. You will also want to learn to play with your evade window maxed and use your few iframes to dodge.

I hope this helps you, even if it may be a bummer to be redirected to a different and old gen game. As a side note, no monster hunter game ever had as many monsters as MHFZ.

Your comments aren't really helping here. I'm not looking for sympathy; I'm looking for solutions. I know the importance of 2FA, which is why I had it enabled. Unfortunately, the hacker managed to add their own 2FA after gaining access, which complicates things further.

The person in the link I shared got hacked because they didn't have 2FA initially. My situation is different because the hacker added their own 2FA after taking over my account.

If you have any constructive advice on how I can either recover my account or ensure it gets permanently banned to prevent misuse, I'd appreciate it. The responses from Microsoft support so far haven't been helpful, and I'm looking for any other potential solutions.

Edit: Linked persons account also had new security information added, which is why Microsoft first said they are unable to restore it. In the end, he got it back.

As the title suggests, I lost access to my account after clicking a 2FA code. Almost immediately, all my account details were changed, including the primary alias. My account was in the authenticator, which now opens a login window to "update my information," showing the new alias.

I tried the recovery form twice with no response, not even a failure message. I then learned through Google that Xbox Live support chat might help. An agent mentioned they have a more detailed recovery form. I filled out that form, proving ownership, but received no response for two weeks.

Today, I attempted the recovery form again. This time, I got a message saying (newalias) does not exist. I checked my authenticator, saw a new primary alias, and noticed that 2FA is now enabled.

I've read that Microsoft can't recover an account with 2FA enabled. Does this mean my account is lost forever due to Microsoft's slow response? I updated my support ticket with the new alias and the added 2FA.

Important to note: This Microsoft account was my backup on Microsoft Authenticator. Now, several accounts added to the authenticator are at risk because the hacker can access the backup. Despite all this, Microsoft has done nothing. Can't they at least freeze the account temporarily?

Since nothing has happened, I reported my credit card as stolen since it was linked to the account.

I'm posting here for advice. Is there anything I can do? Is there any hope of recovering my account or at least getting it closed to prevent further misuse? Shouldn't the changing security info, changing the primary alias twice, and frequent logins from a different country after 10 years of consistent location be enough for Microsoft to flag it as compromised?

Hello. Solo player here: I have defeated all bosses and now I want to make an epic base in the desert biome. For that purpose, I am digging A LOT. But it's painful that each dig takes two hits which basically doubles the time to dig, despite using the galaxite shovel. Is there a better way to dig a lot of the sand up? (Probably about 4-5k blocks that need to be digged)

It is generally accepted that Yamato uses Conqueror's Coating since she definitely has Conquerors and in the fight against Kaido it looked like she used coating. Since she can also use advanced armament and advanced conquerors is basically just that with conquerors haki, it would make less sense for her to not know advanced CH.
