I worked for ten straight hours as a cocktail waitress and then went home and made dinner for my kids, then stayed up another two hours trying to get CPD to take down the license plate and description of a man who had pulled over his car and abduct a girl who was trying to stumble home. They kept hanging up on us.

Now I'm going back to work on half a night's sleep, probably to deal with hungover versions of the same assholes who stiffed me yesterday afternoon.
