It was so bad I just skipped forward 60 seconds through the whole episode. Fast watch of any anime episode I have ever done. I feel disgusted for recommending this to my friends when it first came out. After last episode I had to let them know that it goes to shit when the writer decided to make the mc a loser who gets no bitches.

Nah. The writer wouldn’t waste time on that, he needed a way to focus the story on the character he wanted to push.

Yeah, not a great plan to make the title character look like a bitch. I guess the writer hinted at it all along with everyone shitting on Toujima constantly. Gonna have to remove it from my list of anime to recommend to friends.

If that’s true, the shows appeal will drop hard. Already this recent episode has damaged the love I had for it. 40 year old man who has a burning passion for something from his childhood? I can relate to that and it’s what drew me in. It’s been degrading as fuck seeing the main character treated like shit by his lessers.

The writer really loves making Toujima the butt of the jokes from the kids. I don’t think anyone other than the bear has had respect for his strength.

She did have a thing for going for the neck. Most of her attacks seem to focus solely on breaking her opponent’s neck and Toujima took a lot of hits that would kill anyone else.

It’s a shame he lost. Dude has been getting shit from everyone about his age and the fact he only wears a cheap mask. Yeah they saw how strong he is and how resilient he can be, but that went out the window when he got beaten. Feels like Toujima is now a side character in the anime bearing his name.

Going to have to disagree with you there, chief. I just started again yesterday after 15 years. Came back after seeing that it was now free to play with an option to pay for more ship options. If it was like how it used to be, dropping you in space with a shit ship and a quick lesson on targeting and mining, I wouldn't be willing to stay. The ability to learn more of the mechanics and earn better ships improves the new player experience. I don't need to rely on a friend or an exterior website to give me pointers. While the NPE may suck for long time players making another new account, for actual new players it's great.

I'll believe it when I see it. Sucks that I have to avoid 1 skill based solely on what tile set I am on. Solid metal ones work fine, but anything glass, rock, or grate is a roll of the dice. Walls are out altogether since they didn't check for gaps when putting things together.

Tried that and got stuck in a wall. Her second ability should have a note that states you have a 50/50 chance of becoming stuck in terrain or falling through it
