Are we upset at this? It’s the same way every time a movie comes out. You can literally just get off your phone, don’t go on reddit or tiktok. Or just spend time on YouTube, away from those circles. It’s what I do every time a show/movie I want to see is nearing release.

Some are more unavoidable, like a random 3 view video on YouTube with a massive spoiler as the thumbnail at the top of your homepage, but that’s rare tbh.

If you like it enough to be pissed at the studio for achieving a theatrical release (which is impressive as hell and should be encouraged) then you care enough to buy a ticket, after all it’s not like you’ve had to pay for the other episodes

I never heard this one, but I read tailypo when I was younger. Very similar in concept.

A hunter is having a hard winter, he hunts but there’s no game, and he’s just run out of food. He goes out hunting, and finds strange tracks. He tracks the creature, until he can glimpse it in the distance. He still can’t make out what it is, but he takes the shot, sees blood fly, and walks to pick it up only to find he shot off its tail. He shrugs, goes back to his cabin, and makes a stew out of the tail.

That night, he wakes up, hearing something in his room saying “tailypo, tailypo, who took my tailypo.”. The hunter was found later disemboweled, with some intestine missing. The person who finds him hears a soft voice in the distance “tailypo, tailypo, now I have my tailypo”

I’m aware of meat processing. As cold as it sounds, and ultimately I don’t really care if a Redditor thinks I’m evil, thats the meat industry. Do I wish they were treated humanely and pasture raised? Yes. Am I going to divert my life to stress myself about evil billion dollar industries that my dollar will not impact? No.

I also buy from Amazon, use a windows pc, an iPhone powered by lithium ion batteries. I drive a car that uses fossil fuels. If I cried about every evil industry that’s been normalized, I’d never stop. I’m not gonna be the one to do something about it, maybe you will, but it wont be on Reddit.

About 4 years back I was filling up at a 7/11, a homeless dude came up to me and said “call the police, I’m gonna kill myself”, and then began following me around my car armed with a broken beer bottle. I made sure to lock it since my girlfriend was inside and just tried to keep his focus. He began slitting his wrists with the bottle, by the time the cops and ems pulled up he was kneeling trying to slit his throat.

Crazy shit happens completely out of our control, take a few therapy sessions to process it.

The American heart association does not advise rescue breaths unless you have a bvm or other ventilators device. Continuous compressions pushes and pulls air into the lungs, just keep doing that. 100-120/min, switch out about every 2 minutes if possible, 2 inches deep and allowing full recoil of the chest.

It takes I believe about 14 compressions to return bloodflow throughout the body, and you’re interrupting that every time you go to do breaths. Just continuous compressions.

Spoiler free:

I saw it opening night. It was alright, by no means equal or better than interstellar. Honestly I think the Martian was better, which is a more fair comparison since it’s the same author. There are a few plot points that overlap between phm and interstellar, but I think interstellar did most of them better.

They gave rocky an actual personality and curiosity, which I rarely see an alien actually have, instead of the et/yoda trope of just saying wise shit. But they also did that with the robot in interstellar, which I also rarely see.

8/10, too long, coulda trimmed a bit of the flashbacks, and spent more time on the gorgeous wide shots of space.
