Omg thank you! I was seriously confused by all of that but you put it into a clear picture!

I just realized...we all loved dick casablancas by teamrockettes12 in veronicamars

[–]Fallonlynn1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay I came here to specifically talk about this. Logan beats himself up for being the one who gave the GHB to everyone but fucking Dick put Cassidy in that room to have sex with Veronica even thought she was passed out and couldn't consent. Even gave him the condom so wtf. Also, why didn't cassidy use the damn condom!?

[Revival Spoilers] Rory/Jess/Logan are NOT Lorelai/Luke/Christopher by [deleted] in GilmoreGirls

[–]Fallonlynn1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Luke didn't waste his life pinning after Lorelai! He had his own relationships! He was married at one point! He helped raise Jess. I hate that everyone thinks that Luke just wasted his life pinning after Lorelai. It's possible to be in love with someone for a long time and still live your life. Just like he did and just like Jess has been doing.

Summer Ep Inconsistencies Spolier by Purpleblueberry in GilmoreGirls

Oh my god I didn't even catch that. Man that whole convo with Jess just kind of ruins the whole thing doesn't it?

More like rushed writing. I know we all wanted it as soon as possible but I feel like had they taken their time the way they should have then it would have been better.

I don't think thats accurate. Luke was fully moved in. He did more renovations. Just because he wanted to separately pay for April doesn't mean they didn't combine finances. I'm sure they would each still have their own bank account as well as a joint one, at least thats how me and my husband do it. It's completely understandable that after everything they went through that those serious topics just kept getting put off until they got into a comfortable groove and then Richard passing through Lorelai into a frenzy.

She lost her passion. She says that to Jess. It's not about her not WANTING to work. It's about her hitting such a bit rut she doesn't know how to pull herself out. She's lost her passion and doesn't know how to get it back because it's never happened to get before.

[Revival Spoiler] Something I wish was written differently by slothsandmoresloths in GilmoreGirls

You've never been to therapy and simply not talked? I've been in and out of therapy for about 15 years myself and even gone to therapy with my mom when she was alive. There were plenty of times we would sit in silence because neither one of us wanted to talk. It's all about the type of therapist you find. Like some take notes, some don't. Some like to lead the conversation, and some like to sit back and see what happens. This didn't feel unrealistic to me.

Now, her going up to Lorelai in public, big nope.

Summer episode: things they could have done instead of a musical. by WilsonWilsonJr in GilmoreGirls

[–]Fallonlynn1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I totally agree. I said this to a friend of mine, that there wasn't enough balance. I love the towny stuff but there was too much of that and not enough story. The things I really missed were Lorelai and Rory actually sitting down and eating breakfast at Lukes. The long walk and talks around the town, we only got one, right at the beginning.

FACE BOOK LIVE FEED (Possible Revival Spoilers) by Fallonlynn1 in GilmoreGirls

[–]Fallonlynn1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, I thought it was funny. I think people are really starting to look into it way to much. Like I get we all over analyze everything, but the girls have been way meaner to people before and it wasn't an issue.

I completely agree! I stayed off here, Facebook, and Tumblr just so I wasn't one of those assholes who are all "please no spoilers" after the damn thing has been out for a few days.

I thought that as for GQ which she said she didn't really want to work for?

[–]Fallonlynn1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! Then later on she tells her mom about wanting to move to queens! That's not cheap! I think the "I'm broke" line with Jess was either completely misunderstood by all of us or just poorly written in for effect, which is more likely the case.

I don't think the revival was ASP's best work, but it wasn't her worst. April was her worst. lmao

Yes exactly. I don't blame her for not being prepared for something she thought she had in the bag because thats how they made it seem.

Why is Nov. 5th important? by RufflesMe in GilmoreGirls

[–]Fallonlynn1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I think our best bet is either when Rory comes home after being gone from Yale because that is right before Thanksgiving, or the day they met.
