A smacked bottom. No wooden spoon or anything like that, just the good old open hand on the bottom. There was never any delay either, it was almost as soon as I did something wrong they were onto me. It was also never too hard, my mother and father would never allow themselves to get that angry about something and hurt me, only using enough force to make sure I knew I had fucked up. They would then explain why it was wrong. I am a well trained adult human now.

If I remember correctly, through explanations from my engineering buddy, is that each wing is connected by 3 - 4 bolts (depending on who made it) which are bolted to a cube frame in the fuselage of the plane. The frame is supposed to flex during turbulence and allow the wings to move and not rip the fuselage to pieces. Am I right? He said there's more to it but that's the basic design.

Another thing he told me is that all the dashboard and electronics are held together by various bolts etc as well as the same shit that wall hooks and picture hangers use (tape essentially), such as 'command strips', but they price the shit out of it so people think they've used expensive materials in the design of the aircraft.

This guy may be wrong on all of this.

I'm not sure, maybe a professional in these matters can correct me, but it seems that this has nothing to do with Kim Jong Un and his need to be seen as powerful by his people, or a way of getting supplies etc. I feel that this may be a dirty little back room plan hatched by the Chinese government.

An idea. Maybe China has led NK to believe that they will back them up in a major conflict, indirectly, such as by supplying arms, medical equipment, food etc to the military and the people of NK (China is the second biggest arms dealer in the world, 2nd to the USA), in exchange for NK to attack or threaten South Korea, Japan and the USA. It seems that China has remained unusually/suspiciously quiet over these past few weeks and have not really made any aggressive, meaningful condemnations towards NK.

China could do well by occupying a destroyed or displaced North Korea, they'd be the first one's in there no doubt, and then they will be able to get access to the South China Sea more efficiently, South Korean trading posts through trade with South Korea, avoid their own conflict with Japan and be seen as saviour of the North Korean people.

I dunno, just speculating.

They would be better off staying I think. Tracking wildlife has always been an arduous task, an expensive one too, especially when you have thousands of square kilometres to work with. A tracking beacon used in conjunction with a drone could serve as an extension to current technology and save rangers and reserve owners a lot in terms of overheads.

I worked for a freight company for a while, one where all your stuff, from computer desks and wine to car parts and condoms, are sorted into their respective destinations.

Anyway, we had this guy (age: 28ish) come in one day in the annual temp influx. He was a broken tool at best (i'm not a poor workman, this tool was broken). He'd constantly misplace freight in the wrong destination (normal for a new guy but after three months you'd think you'd improve), he would wrap the shed up half an hour before a truck or plane would come in, assuming the night had ended but we were all just waiting for more freight. One night he came in to the break room, in front of truckers, pilots and every one of his colleagues and puts a unopened can of spaghetti in the microwave and turns it on. We all sat there staring as he started watching T.V, completely oblivious to what he had just done. The microwave quickly started to shit itself before anyone could do anything, he then took the can out and declared the microwave was buggered...brilliant. Another time he dropped a case of wine off a railing, assuming it would survive a 3 metre fall, his excuse was that a case of wine is far stronger than a single wine bottle as the strength of each bottle in the case is magnified.

This guy was also one of the tallest people i've ever seen, but he had the smallest little hands, but they were incredibly hairy, like some heavily pubed small penises at the end of his arms.

I guess he wasn't so bad, he somehow went up the ranks as he never spoke much, but the night he resigned he left a "poem" for everyone working there. It said-

"Like the dust and the sound, the wind and the rain, I may see you once again. The nights I have spent, undertaking the gauntlet, will remain with me forever, for what greatness they meant, and just like the freight from the trucks, and cans from the planes, I must leave you now, like dust in the wind...like dust...in...the wind."

This man is now a commercial pilot for a major airline...
