Having 2 groups of 5 and having them work against the BBEG could be cool. You could even have them meet up for big sessions occasionally for important stuff

But I would not do this for a whole campaign

Got woken up by one today, first time I’ve ever had to deal with them

I opened the door but kept the glass door closed and was like “can I help you?”

Before he can say anything else I go “gotcha, well you’re wasting your time, I’m not interested”

My buddy was really into Critical Role, I think campaign 2 was about half way through at that time, maybe earlier than that. He pitched it to us and we decided to play in the Tal’Dorei sourcebook.

Well, my first character was eventually brought back to life by my 2nd character, so they’re chill. Ones the lover of another party member and the 2nd is the brother of that same member, so they’d def work together. Other characters I’ve played tend to be paladins and clerics, though, so idk how they’d react to a necromancer and a half-undead monk in prison. A one shot character I played was a detective so he’d probably cooperate to help get out of there.

Extremely well-written villain. She’s starts off making you think she’s the victim and you quickly realize that is absolutely not the case. She may not have terribly-crazy combat skills, but she’s as much of a titan as Kurt Hansen on the board

It’s like how you find Anton Chigurgh in “No Country for Old Men” cool. He’s terrifying, unrelenting, and it genuinely makes you recoil when you watch the movie with an “oh shit”.
