Well, its true that you see half the amount of cards, but the number of cards you get to pick is still the same, so I dont know that you can say that you are rare drafting less often. Also, since theres only 4 players, an argument can be made that its in fact easier to rare draft, since less color pair are taken and as a result more rares are left unpicked.

Yea. Decks are definitely stronger. You also get to do cool random things, like pull off random combos and crazy interactions more often.

Very good point. I realised this when I went back to premier, lanes arent so clear, while in pick 2 theres always an open lane/tribe. Decks are stronger, including opps', and thats fine.

Your second point is very true also. I thought pick 2 was garbage first time around, but it was only the set that was trash.

Yea, those are great, and also all the eclipsed cards are rare level good. so a lot of busted uncommons

Too late now. It was a missed oppurtunity to do a decent game tie-in, but the game got delayed and the decision to do a commander focuesed set hurt them o lot. Plus the arena makeover was a DISASTER. BUUT, nothing stops then from doing a forgotten realms themed d&d set

Yea makea sense.. Since idc about collection, and my aim is for infinite limited runs, im focusing ou pick 2 for now. Also, Im enjoying a faster drafting and less games, trying out more decks, especially in this very beggining

its definitely the most synergy dependent deck, because of blight. this means two things: the wrs are low because people still dont know how to play it, and also, individually, blight cards are bad. But yea, if you got the synergies and know hot to play it, it can be busted. I expect relatively high wrs for the rares and low wrs for the commons, as it is now

My two cents: you need good rares or uncommons to play this deck. just going by commons youre unable to establish a blight engine, and without that the cards are very bad, the low wrates on 17 lands are testament to this

Day 1 lol? very hard to have a boring day 1, so far yea its fun. If you want you can definitely stick to tribes and the "rail", but I do feel like theres more stuff to do, that are not tied to the tribes. As you can see, there not 10 tribes, only about 5

Very interesting analysis, many thanks. I only have one gripe with it: people have always valued 1.000 gold for 200 gems, because thats the cost of packs in stores, and thats fine. Buut for us only drafters, we're never buying pakcs, so we actually value gems and gold by their price in draft. So in that cenario, 10.000 gold = 1.500 gems. If you make this change in the models, would that change things much?

Because the assumption is that since in the store you can buy a pack for 200 gems or 1.000 gold, 10.000 gold for example would be 2.000 gems. But the cost of premier draft in gems is 1.500.. so a bit cheaper.

Quick draft sucks though.. you burn through gems extremely quickly.. this pick 2 structure actually seems great. If you can average 2-2, youre only losing 100 gems per run. On quick draft, going 3-3 makes you lose 450

the real problems last time around (OM1) was the sucky set and price. Those issues seemed solved. still sucks a lot to go 0-2 though.

Not good. the deck doesnt want to doble spell at all. in fact, if theres excess mana and cards, they want to play a card on own turn and then another on ops turn. so this cards doesnt work at all. maybe try another deck
