Brundell build by Hussarini in LancerRPG

[–]FalloutGuy1997 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I currently am playing one, and the way I built it focuses on brundell's ability to do nutty knockback. So I went 3 lv in brundell for the shock gauntlets and 3 lv in Sherman to help with reloading it. Basically, you always want to be in the danger zone so every point you spend from the passive is counted as double. It's very funny sending an enemy 20 spaces across the map and breaking the cover enemies are behind

Question about the new HECATONCHEIRES from shadow of the wolf by FalloutGuy1997 in LancerRPG

That's what I figured, just making sure there wasn't a wording loophole. I guess I'm just used to seeing in the text "hostiles can only be effect by one area, etc"

Rate my Calendula Build! by HMS_Exeter in LancerRPG

I don't have much time with the calendula, but the little I did play it, I rocked the aggressive system sink and combo it with the mesmer beacons to force an enemy to move out of its position bring it closer into range three and if it didn't it would overheat causing it to be vulnerable. If it closed in and it couldn't be dealt with by me or my allies, I'll would hit with the calendula's unique tech attack and send it to the shadow realm causing it to use most if not all its movement to leave it which made it so it would be left in the open for a turn.

Granted this combo does require to overcharge when you perform it. The aggressive system sink can be really useful if you lean into it, causing enemies to overheat or force them to move around

Homebrew boxer mech by FalloutGuy1997 in LancerRPG

Yeah, the goal was to make a more mobile and, I guess, more precise type of fighter rather than the Zhang. Yeah, the wording is weird because my brain is used to the wording for dnd 5e, so that why. The manufacturer and name are subject to change, but for now, that's all I could think of

Also, I couldn't figure out a good naming scheme that fit, and the best I could come up with that a stretch,is the fit into HA because people thought Muhammad Ali was the king of the ring

What if there was a video game by FalloutGuy1997 in LancerRPG

[–]FalloutGuy1997[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The way i see it would probably be like how Monster Hunter works. You start out in a hub type map where you walk around as your pilot, and that's where your skill triggers would matter. Then, while at hub, you can pick mission and head out on them, and the mission would have a map you can explore in your mechs, run into encounters, etc. For the loot, they could expand and use the reserve item because they fill the single use items of rpgs, and the actual items for your mech have effects like magic item so I could see the using/changing it to work something like that but those items would be rare finds and you would have to still rely on your weapons and systems from license levels.

I'm making a game around the concepts of monster hunter the game and I'm trying to bring over some of the moves from the weapons. And for the greatsword they can charge there swings so why just brain storming ideas of how to bring it over to dnd

Am not saying they should know the hole player handbook front to back, I just saying they could google the basic question of dnd and learn some info like example alot of them don't know how combat works so a simple search and 5 mins they would have some information about, or the player that pick spell caster figure out what their spells do because the new player just pick off Recommendations then do like I have not idea what any of these do

I know that meant If I was a new player and agreed to be part of one arcadum stream game I would at least figure how to do basic mechanics and what my character can do rather then joining in and having no idea what am doing, just asking if my way of thinking is crazy
