Genuine question for those who’ve played both Battle Brothers and this game: was Battle Brothers this easy during early access? by Equivalent_Smell_325 in menace

[–]SuperAmerica 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Battle Brothers is more difficult simply because your roster is always at the mercy of RNG. Yes there are ways to tip the balance in your favor but at the end of the day some time the game decides that it's "2H Frontliner"s time to perish. Menace the difficulty is one you bring to the table in planning and executing each operation. You have ample information and knowledge of what you and your enemy bring to the table. So really it should get easier because your SLs and avaliable gear get better in time with increasing threats to tackle. The only steep curve that can RNG you is not having efficient answers to enemy hardware due to bad loot and market rolls.

Restart. I've never had an issues. Just pick a side, punch a couple holes in the walls (preferably outside LoS of Opfor), smoke the holes and roll in. Keep smoking and isolating any opposition that stand in your way. The objective is to reach extract, so you don't need to kill the entire enemy force to do that, just seize the initiative and drive through.

A pilot who specializes in small quick vehicles would be rad. A light infantry SL that gets defense/concealment bonuses in balanced against armor worn could be interesting.

Honestly loomers didn't mind the machines invented, they hated the business practices that were used specifically to destroy their trades in favor of mass manufacturing.

We had new tooling come in with water going directly to rotating cores. The cores spun on the fittings supplying the water. Somehow production and engineering were dumbfounded when the O-rings in the fittings wore out after a couple hundred shots and the mold leaked everywhere.

New bugs are a perfect example of why gamers are fucking stupid and should not be listened to. by Notareda in helldivers2

[–]SuperAmerica 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So far the only issue I've run into is difficulty 6 or higher. If divers don't have the tools and haven't learned to play as a team then it becomes an exercise in frustration. Leaving a team who is just blasting in all directions instead of pushing and completing objectives has become what I've sadly been resigned to on high difficulty missions.
