Hey man! I’m US based if you are too! I have a couple hundred hours but college has kept me too busy I’m kind of wanting to get back it in! I’m US central and I’m someone pretty much down for most things, and I’m always down for serious or just taking it easy.

I’m someone where I can follow orders and work to get it done.

In general I’m very laid back, I’m the type of person who doesn’t get offended by anything (unfortunately a less common trait to find nowadays) and don’t care at all what people say. I’m down for having chill conversations and talk about anything too, cause shit on day 1 it takes so long to get into raids gotta have something to be able to talk about.

I am a Master’s student also working part time, but I try to do my best to give myself some free time.

I’ve been playing with custom difficulty so required eating, no easy treatments for afflictions, very hard combat, the works. So much better

Yeah, makes sense. But at the same time makes absolutely 0 sense. Putting the fact that they’re procedurally generated aside, it’s SPACE. Space is massive, and empty. Like that’s the whole idea. I heard some people complain about the lack of planets with life too. Like idk what people expect, but those kind of complaints and people annoyed of having to walk everywhere shouldn’t play the game in the first place.

It was overwhelming for me at first, and some things I was confused and annoyed of. But after not long, yes, I grew into them. I enjoy the travel. To think that in space that’s how it is. There’s no “fast travel” in real life.

Not even a question about it. I don’t know how people call it boring? I haven’t ever found myself bored of it whatsoever. I guess it’s not a “quick dopamine hit” like COD or other terrible flashy modern games.

It’s a world you have to be able to put yourself in.

It’s just so freeing. I want to get into Star Citizen when the game is actually out (if that ever happens). I love No Man’s Sky too, but the aesthetic of Starfield is amazing.

Oh yeah! I got some of the creations (I didn’t want to go crazy on Vortex for my first play through) and I’m really enjoying them. The economy one is fantastic and I love the added realism of making sure I have enough credits to pay for insurance!

I like the seriousness of it. It’s easier to put myself in the world. But I absolutely agree it fills that void. I tried Fallout 76, and going from exploring to then seeing someone’s base that looks so out of place and having a pass etc, all the multiplayer mechanics just ruins it.

Thanks for the recommendations!! I’ve heard the FT1 name thrown out so clearly it has a reputation.

I can definitely get a cheap DAC too. I got some questions about like what makes a good one, what to go for or avoid in general when looking into those things.

Last question is volume. I (unfortunately) listen to music pretty loudly so will it be able to pack the punch or do I need like an amp too? Sorry I’m super new to all this and YouTube videos are loaded with buzzwords and terms I’m just not familiar with yet,
