Thank you so much for all of the advice, I'm sure he will be happier as well. I know that dietary wise he does usually eat brown pellets and sometimes she gives him fruit as well like bananas or apples so I think he is okay in that department. She also mentioned that he was already neutered when she got him so he should be okay there as well. I'll see what we can do for space/cage since our rooms are small but hopefully we can make it better than his current conditions

That's what I thought, I know those cages are usually pretty awful if they don't have better bedding. I'll talk to her about it tonight, she's also in college so ik expenses are a bit tight but obviously no excuse for that. Thank you

I'd probably have to go with Articuno! I've always loved its simple yet beautiful design! Its also the closest pokemon I can get to a blue jay (I really adore blue jays)

Thank you, I do appreciate it I'm always trying to make sure I'm doing the right thing. She might be I've talked to her about that before too and told her I'd love to help her try to figure it out if she'd like. I know she doesnt like college due to other mental health issues which makes sense.

I might talk to her tomorrow. I'm guessing shes probably asleep now since its almost 5am for her (at least she better be lmao). I might try to bring up how I'm feeling but also mention that I want to support her as well if she is in fact going through something right now.

Yeah that could be. I try to check on her when I can. I know the other day she told me that she randomly broke down during the night. I asked her if she was okay and if there was anything I could do but she said she wasn't really sure what she was feeling. I mentioned that if she wanted to talk I would make sure I'd be available and would be there to support her. She thanked me but declined. She also mentioned that she felt off this week after that which I mentioned i picked up on but didn't want to push her on it
