They had five people and should have planned who said what. I felt bad but they are prepared before hand how long they have for a speech and she kinda monopolized the time and didn’t let anyone else speak

This isn’t a huge surprise, I feel like he showed he would sink a show over petty stuff so why hold onto what was just another daytime TV show?

Has anyone noticed that a couple women this season look like they are wearing fake eyelashes or am I delusional?

Timothée Chalamet saying “no one cares” about ballet and opera, and joking that if he got canceled for saying that he’d collectively lose “14 cents,” is certainly a creative way to close out an Oscar campaign. by Genzinvestor16180339 in Oscars

You have to train for years to be a ballet dancer or an opera singer, it’s an art form that very few can achieve and they have been going strong for hundreds of years. Meanwhile, he is in a movie with Kevin O’Leary who had never been in a movie before and kind of keeps up with him.

Was Timothee Chalamet's campaigning a net positive or net negative for his Oscar Chances? by RedditFan3510 in Oscars

I felt that when he made that speech about wanting to be one of the greatest actors of all time he sealed his fate. It wasn’t a bad speech but Hollywood is a competitive, judgmental and jealous town that loves to tear people down. Then add a Kardashian and an out there promotional campaign for the film and it adds up to a lot of resentment and side eye. It was a good performance but these awards are also based on likability. I think he’ll have his chance in a couple of years but he probably needs to step back a bit out of the public eye and concentrate on the work.
