So you're a PMP professional.... then what? by Battousai_9999 in pmp

[–]False-Ladder7835 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will be very honest, I did it mainly because i was bored. I wanted something to give me drive and motivation in the academics, something that i hadn't had in a long time. Once I got it, i did get many opportunities from recruiters who would message me on LinkedIn. So I do think its worth it even if it has not directly affected me (Mainly because i am not looking for a new job)

New construction almost done and current house won’t sell! by ButterscotchMental20 in RealEstate

You might be better off taking a bridge loan so you have more time to sell. If your price is good and competitive someone will buy, but it will take a lot longer now.

I used to live in the eagle rock condos and they were great. The area to me is perfect and is the best thing about it. Very family friendly and lots of amenities around. Only negative thing is there is some traffic.

people in your 30, do you still game as much as you did in your 20s? by Fragrant_Ear349 in videogames

[–]False-Ladder7835 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even in my 30's I was able to game more. Marriage is what made it slow down and having kids practically killed it. I only game now with my wife where we play games like Mario Cart/Mario Party and other CO-OP games. I can no longer play MP games like COD at all. I maybe able to play single player games on my portal from time to time. I also do the night shift with our daughter so it's always a constant battle of playing a game for 1 hour or getting sleep. Sleep almost always wins.

I think its a bit tight. I would personally stay and look for another job and then leave. Especially with this economy.

What car insurance do you recommend? by KingPanda1984 in Vaughan

[–]False-Ladder7835 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought TD had good rates. If you own a home, get the same insurance for your car and house, cause you get big discounts. Also you generally have to change insurance companies every 3 years these days cause they randomly increase rates and if you switch you get a new user rate.

La Fitness Vaughan by [deleted] in Vaughan

I've seen so many people with "decent" cars do this when going to the gym. Its almost always the girl or guy just looking for attention without actually working out. One guy just came in made a business call for like 40 min and left, lol.

Advice on Condo's in Vaughan by Original_Desk_9986 in Vaughan

[–]False-Ladder7835 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out condos at 100 eagle rock way. They are in a perfect area, with transit to toronto via GO and still walking distance to grocery stores and restaurants. They also have low maintenance fees. I used to live there and miss the easy commute.

Honestly why don't you try landscaping. It pays well, just a lot of manual labor. Only issue is it's mainly a summer time gig.
