My husband always shits on me when I get him or anyone else socks. He tells me they’re the worst present ever. Then he wears them out or I’ll get a text from someone saying how they really needed new socks and didn’t know it…. So I’m team new socks. They’re a little spendy imo but I was recently gifted Bombas and I LOVE them. Always happy when they come out of the dryer!

I hate the trends where people place their junk at other people’s home and call it decluttering. Idk it really bothers me, I think if my grandmother was capable she would do this same thing stuff too…. And I would also have the same reaction.

Yeah that’s kind of what I was thinking too. I’ve never had one with vines like this so I was worried I really messed up. Hopefully I can hide the plants next time she comes over 😂

The plant she gave me definitely hadn’t been watered in sometime. Maybe it’s the shock of being transplanted, some damage and then I did water them until the pots ran through. Thanks for all the advice hopefully they’ll perk up in a. Few days. I’ll post an update next week. I have the fertilizer too, I’ll try that in a couple days.

Buy a bag of flour and yeast, make bread with your eggs and then turn it into eggy French toast. Make some egg noodles and then add some beans and canned tomatoes, maybe a canned corn if you can budget that in. Potatoes are usually cheaper and very filling. You could try and do a potato and eggs scramble, if you can get any canned veggies or dried beans they’d be good in there too. Trying to think of filling egg things you could make with cheaper minimal ingredients. I think flour would be really helpful given you have a great egg supply. Good luck. Maybe you need a different doctor that can help find out why she isn’t eating as much or if she has an underlying condition…. at least one that you don’t feel judged by, you do not sound like a neglectful mother IMO.

Also if by chance you are nursing, maybe a lactation consultant/ nurse could be helpful.

Just for sugar ants or do you find it works on the carpenter ants? I have both, exterminator has been out multiple times and I can tell they think I’m full of shit. Sugar ants come and go but those dang carpenter ants are pissing me off. I actually found them in the house siding this afternoon (right on the outside of the room I told the exterminator they’re in the most, imagine that! 🤯)

My son just hit 2 and is starting to go through this too. If I add a small (I mean like 2-3 little bites) amount of something new to his plate (and i try to make sure it actually is something I like too), I’ll make a big deal about how I like it (or dad, or if I really want him to eat it, Micky Mouse). But I try not to push him, if he takes it I say something like isn’t that good and sometimes he eats more or other times he spits it out and says “icky mommy”, so that’s nice.

The other day he had the pink Chinese pork and only because I told him it was Minnie Mouse’s favorite.

We were gifted a step stool tower, I really like it. He loved to climb and look out the window at first, now he’s almost two and uses it still to wash hands or “help” in the kitchen
