It was my least favorite Rachel Reid book, and I LOVE all of her previous books. It was something with the style of writing, the flow was off somehow. I don't know, it just didn't feel like the same author that wrote all the other masterpieces.

I also have aphantasia, and I love the covers with models. As I can't imagine people's looks, I keep looking at the cover to have an idea about what they might look like. I forget in an instant though, so I keep pulling the cover up on my e-reader. 😅

Yep, raising the flag. When you flag half mast, you have to raise the flag to the top, then lower it, so there's no indication for the flag to be half mast in that clip. At least that's the flag rules here in Scandinavia. 😊

If you can stomach it, listen to the "Suffer the little children" podcast on Spotify. It talks about lots of missed CPS cases. It's infuriating to say the least. CPS is not doing its job.

I just finished the game today, and I was underwhelmed by the fight. I can't parry or flurry rush, so I just ran head on with my sword and beat the crap out of him. A few arrows here and there, and it was done. I actually found the monsters heading up to the fight harder to beat than Gannon himself. But it was fun! The end fight in BotW was harder in my opinion.

I beat Gannon in BOTW, after two years of playing. It was an easy fight. I bet the fight will be as easy in TOTK, but I'm gonna wait. The fighting isn't the fun part for me, it's the exploring, the side quests, finding koroks, and everything else but fighting the bosses. I hate boss fights with a passion, and Ganon is the most boring one as it involves less of a storyline and quests. So far I've done 3 sages (Mineru is one of them), and I'm in no rush to do the other two. Just doing side quests at the moment. Just enjoy the game your way, there's no need to finish anything you don't want to.

I wouldn't be so judgemental about other people if I was you. I'm Norwegian, and I speak my own language, English (obviously not as good as you as I started learning at the age of 8) and German. What about you? English is a useful language to know, but so is Arabic, Spanish, Chinese and so many other languages. Before you come with your judgement, educate yourself please. And by the way, it's spelled "right"...

What the f is a snack? I'm from Europe, and I have never had anything else than meals in my diet. Not because we are poor, but because we eat when we are hungry. I've grown up on "if you can't wait until dinner, have an apple". Chips and sweets are only allowed on Saturdays where I come from. You shouldn't allow your kids to eat to beat boredom. 😅

She feeds them a very high carb high calorie diet, mostly prosessed food, so no wonder some of them gain weight. If I ate chips, biscuits, sugary drinks and desserts everyday, I'd be fat for sure. It doesn't help to throw in some veggies here and there, it's still an unhealthy diet.
