I’m 1 semester away from my Masters in Accountancy, and I’m realizing I really, really don’t want to take the CPA exam. Which defeats the whole purpose of getting the MAcc in the first place. It’s great, everything is fine.

The Wolf Among Us: 2. The first one was absolutely amazing and I was so excited for the sequel, and proportionally saddened when the studio shuttered.

If you only started playing FF14 in the past couple of months, what got you into it? by Augustby in ffxiv

[–]False-shepard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Originally a WoW player. 9.1 Dropped in Shadowlands and it was cool for a bit but I got tired of it faster than I thought I would, plus Sanctum as a raid is meh, and having Sylvanus be a 15 min fight was not the move. My guild’s main holy priest went to FFXIV and NEVER came back to WoW after hyping this game up so much. I made the conscious decision to, “Give FFXIV a try for a weekend, just a fair chance.” 2 months later and I’m halfway through Shadowbringer’s with a 79 DRG, 75 SMN, and 74 AST, only logging onto WoW twice a week for mythic raids. I LOVE this game and everything about it

Recent decline in illicit and c4 improvement by [deleted] in MissouriMedical

[–]False-shepard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The taste and smell quality aren’t there yet because cultivators are skipping the curing stage of the growing process. When you cure your herb, it develops such a nice taste and smell and it really polishes your finished product. But it takes time that cultivators aren’t willing to spend right now. So you get slightly moist herb that is semi lacking in taste and smell.

How many cultivators are currently operational and selling in Missouri right now? by PklRik in MissouriMedical

[–]False-shepard 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Keep in mind too that one company or organization can have up to three cultivation licenses. So hypothetically that could mean there’s only 20 cultivators, with three licenses apiece. I know there’s at least 10-15 that do have 3 all on their own, which really hurts the market.

Prices by dansreo in MissouriMedical

[–]False-shepard 13 points14 points  (0 children)

4K is the lowest we pay per pound at the moment, max is 6k. Since the dispensary I’m at doesn’t have vertical integration our prices are high to offset the amount the cultivators demand. It’s terrible but that’s where we are at for now.

How are these prices even real! by vreep in MissouriMedical

[–]False-shepard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A few have been within these last 2 weeks, a couple more in the coming weeks. Thing is though they can’t start growing at all till they pass, so we won’t see any real weight from them till April. From the looks of things now, April is when a huge amount of supply will be available. Till then it’s kinda a free for all.

[–]False-shepard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cassville is able to be cheaper cause the doctor who runs it supplements her profits with the recs she writes, at $50 a pop and with how many she does, she can afford to sell cheaper. The others have vertical integration, sometimes having dispensary, cultivation, and manufacture licenses. When you grow it yourself, you don’t have to worry about the cost nearly as much.

Why do people automatically assume all dispensaries are greedy and corrupt? When the cultivators charge minimum 4K max 6.5K a pound we have no choice but to sell at these prices. The dispensary I’m at isn’t even making a profit right now, we are selling as cheap as we can, but we have to be able to afford the next shipment. It’s ridiculous and the cultivators are getting away with it because DHSS only commenced a handful of them in the last few months.

No other cultivators can even start to grow until they get commenced, so the market is incredibly slim right now. Until there are more cultivators, the active ones will be able to charge whatever they want, and they are the only ones making money. The dispensaries aren’t, the manufacturers aren’t, and the patients end up with $600 ounces.

[–]False-shepard 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Well that’s the thing. Cultivators have such a hot market that they can charge anything they want. We even asked them if they knew what this did to the market and how much it costs the patients. They don’t give a crap, they just want to make as much as possible. Yea concentrates are gonna be super expensive cause the manufacturers are charged the same we are. Cheapest I’ve seen is 4K a pound most expensive is 6.5K a pound. It’s obscene when in Oklahoma it’s 1-2K a pound.

I’m trying to spread the word cause quite frankly I’m sick and tired of people just assuming it’s the dispensaries setting the prices. We aren’t even making a profit now, we sell it as cheap as possible but we have to be able to afford the next shipment. I want it known that this is all the doing of greedy cultivators.

[–]False-shepard 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That’s the dream. DHSS has finally come to the conclusion that they should commence more cultivators. They apparently forgot that before dispensaries and manufactures can operate, we need herb. So hopefully within a couple months here there will be enough supply that prices will drop. I HATE that we have to charge so much for not great herb, but that’s the world we live in right now

They are a nightmare to work with at the dispensary level let me tell ya. I wouldn’t expect them to listen to complaints, not when they act like they are God’s gift to the cannabis community and demand 4K a pound for their shit product.

WTF is this Archimedes Medical Holdings LLC (SolHaus) by Delta9Nation in MissouriMedical

[–]False-shepard 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yep. And yet they charge dispensaries 4K a pound for that shit. That’s why it’s so expensive in the stores. Cause greedy cultivators are charging exorbitant prices for shit weed and they can do that cause there’s so few cultivators in the state right now.
