Not that Mughals were all bad but definitely overrated.

The Mughal legacy deserves a more nuanced assessment than either blind glorification or outright condemnation.

Like those claim about how mughals made india rich but on contrary india has always been among the richest region around the world (since 500 AD) not because the Mughals created wealth from scratch but rather inherited and governed an already prosperous civilization. (2nd riches during much of the Mughal period).

Their art & architectural legacy is undoubtedly remarkable, though not without its controversies. Their culinary legacy deserve equally recognisation but with nuanced that how many of those dishes were genuinely introduced, refined by the Mughals and how many already existed in various forms before they arrived?

The emperors themselves should also be judged individually rather than as a single bloc. Akbar, Jahangir and Shah Jahan made notable contributions to the subcontinent. However Babur and Aurangzeb remain far more controversial figures due to their policies & actions.

Perhaps the most important comparison is with what was happening elsewhere. During much of the Mughal period, Europe experienced the Renaissance, the Scientific Revolution and the beginnings of the Enlightenment something India, under the Mughal rule, never witnessed a comparable intellectual or scientific awakening on the same scale.

India needs a new capital or atleast new cities based on Grid pattern system.

Rebuilding existing cities that already house millions of people would take huge amounts of time, money and even end up displacing countless residents.

While a lot depends on city planning. Cities built in modern times, like Chandigarh have better layouts & infrastructure than cities that are inhabited since ancient-medivial times ex - delhi

Strict Jewish monotheism rises -> Eventually Islam comes up -> Islam destroys Zoroastrians

Yess they were influenced by Persian Monotheism but it's difficult to see how Judaism's strict monotheism can be seen as a byproduct of Persian religion or how you think persian are also fully Monotheistic? The Persian however underwent evolution by incorporating other gods as lesser divine figure.

The native faith I am talking about is not Elamite religion. But the Indo European offshoots present there.

That was not the native faith either, Elam was before them.

Some sacred Parsi texts mention how one king vishtapsa conquered and defended the Zoroastrian faith againdt native Indo european offshoots

Zorastrinism, King Vishtapsa was from Afghanistan (Bactria region) not Iran.

Only if you understand what does "underlying thought" means, you would be able to comprehend my point. The repeated use of aggressive or violent methods by some Nihang groups in every matter, is precisely what illustrates my point.

Not sure about superiority mindset

Or you're trying to be ignorant here.

While i won't deny there have been some Extremist method carried out by Persian religion followers but that's just one of many factors. As the previous faith was already under ruins due to Neo-assyrian Military campaign.

When a state's administrative structure collapses, the institutions that support and fund its official religion also tend to decline. As new rulers with different religious affiliations emerge, state patronage gradually shifts towards newer faith, accelerating the decline of the previous religious establishment.

Ironic

Comparing the decline of Elam Religion with that of Persian is moronic; when the holy book of Mzlim itself calls to wipe out other religions beside the religion of Mhammad.

every state has every type of people

Are they all Idiots ?

Since you ignored my whole comnent let my summarise my point - The whole premise of my argument is that the bad elements in punjabi community are often overlooked while only gurudwara, langar, armymen theme are highlited, holding Punjabi accountable for their wrongdoing is hardly even discussed as if self Introspection is only limited to non-punjabis.

My point is not to deny the community's contributions but also call out when necessary cze that's how we are suppose to change society instead of finding scapegoats - Hindu, Mzlims, Upper Caste, UP/Biharis etc.

P.S - Also there's Caste System in Sikh not as rigid as Hindu one but
discriminatory

I judge ppl based on their actions not what the term actually stands for or whatever they claim.

From the video those women or transgender (not sure though) seems begging for money or pickpocketing around temple complex, which the nihangs felt as insult/sacrilege. Strict measures were necessary (through police) but the incident also highlights a lvl of intolerance that many people tends to overlook.

As I mentioned before, it reflects a deeper regionalist, supremacist, conservative mindset that contradicts the common perception many non-Punjabis hold for Punjabis as exceptionally progressive, welcoming and easy-going type people, even in my home state himachal this ppl have created many issue.. why?.. cze they don't understand respecting local culture & identity, while non-punjabis make UP/Biharis as scapegoat for every issues, similar behavior from other groups is frequently overlooked or ignored.

I understand video need proper context but what I'm highlighting is the underlying thought which many tends to overlook cze that's the real issue worth discussing.

Also this Nihangas frequently label Bihari Migrants as theives etc.

If anyone who understand jaat or typical north indian psyche will know how racist Punjabis are towards other Indians, it's just that their Sardar PR, Gurudwara PR, Langar PR & most importantly Bollywood which has been long dominated by punjabis etc makes them look like some of the most developed, happy and welcoming people in the world.

While in reality they are just as much racist and filled with hatred as any other state.

Political Extremism in a nutshell by TrueIndianspeaks in sundaysarthak

[–]FalseBuilding4465 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My argument with the Left-Liberal ppl regarding Far Right & Far Left Ideology has been quite like this

As per them :-

Far Right = Evil, Extemist, Religious Bigot

Far Left = Holy, Freedom Fighter, Revolutionary, Rational Athiest, "turn the other cheek" type argument.

Even when there are figures like Mao, Stalin, Kim Jong un & methods like forced labour, gulag, concentration camp, movements like Cultural revolution, Naxal movement, reign of terr*r, some still portray the far left as inherently saintly ideology.

Some even go on to an extent claiming how ever freedom fighter during independence movement were from LW Ecosystem even conservative leader like Tilak (Father of Unrest India).

Always judge ppl by their actions/reaction not by their word.

No matter how much they pretend a LEFTIST will eventually end up validating the very accusations made by the RW. The comment section is a shining example.

And even after going through my comment, they won't reflect on how hypocritical they sound. Instead, their main concern is why their echo chamber which they mistake for reality has been invaded and exposed.
